If only there were more purples/burgandys I would go nuts. Looks like a maybe for #8 on the pending swatch. But maybe that's what's best for my wallet. Lol

They're still around minus Andy. They actually came to my city a few years back (smaller venue with general admission), but tickets sold out in 5 minutes so I never got a chance to go.

Have you tried pressing violet pigment onto another "violet" lipstick? I know it's work, but it'll get you the violet colour.

A good suggestion.
I don't mind playing, so i sometimes mix lipsticks, top a lipstick with a different color lip gloss, blend a lip liner with a lipstick, blend an eyeliner with a lipstick (not necessarily lip safe, i know), and have recently been playing with powders (such as pigments) over lipsticks.
Still, a little more work and a little more "risky" than just swiping on a lipstick - "risky" in that if the experiment isn't what i like, i'll have to start over.
Basically i think MAC would do better if it didn't call a lipstick "violet" (note there's a violet flower among the photos) when it's actually purple.

I totally agree. I want nay demand accuracy in names and color description since swatches by MAC via monitor are srsly unreliable. Butch lip tar will help get msny so called purple pink lippies closer 2 the color I am aiming for nut i'd love noy having to play franlenstein so can Mac pleasr make real violet lipstick in a std bullet!

all the retro mattes this year, which I love tyvm, are exciting but I am also missing the mattenes. I don't want to follow all the collections {sooooo many} so if anybody has noticed a mattene please lmk. I am looking for rapturous in particular and am hoping it gets repromoted. Isn't there usually a collection out towards end of year that has a couple thrown in for us fans?

me too lol hopefully mac slow down with all these back to back collections I brought something out of each one tried to skip tempature rising but ordered ripe for love blush glad I did because its beautifulSubscribed! Oh my.. I need to save up.. Or else i wont be able to get all 8...
