MAC Retro Matte collection (September 12, 2013)

I haven't tried FOD on my lips yet. It looked pretty in swatches and on everyone so I got it because it didn't look "too" brown on anyone. I don't really want brown. I'm not that huge on 'wine' either but I'd rather wine than brown. I'll try it on soon.

Thanks for the hints. It wasn't clear to me that some of these were LE, or i'd have jumped on FOD sooner. When i was on Nordstrom's site earlier today, FOD was nowhere to be seen  Liba, my skin tone is neutral, between 15 & 20, but i have a personal weak spot for violets and purples. Thanks for being so... uh... supportive :kissy:  Other than rosacea pink cheeks, some dark spots along my jaw line, and crepey spots on my eyelids, my face is mostly unwrinkled, and my skin care keeps it looking kinda dewy, plus i use a moisturizing foundation when i wear one. I have Dominate, which is bluer than FOD, so i'm a fan - and i'm hoping TTT will be similar to FOD, assuming it isn't impossible to get, given all the RiRi collection drama... None of the other colors in this collection really look like i can wear them, so i guess it's a big skip all around. Ah, well. Y'all look lovely in your lipsticks.

I went ahead and paid evilbay pricing. I thought I'd skip but when I saw it irl that sucker was purple not magenta as I originally thought. So I'd recommend tracking it down. Not trying to enable but I'd be remiss in my team purple duties if I let you skip it!

I hope so elegant! I have a feeling you will be right. If it even looked like it would be too brown I wouldn't have gotten it. It didn't swatch too brown in my swatch so hopefully the same will go once on my lips.

yep, the more natural PLWL colors all lean super brown. I'm not sure what was up with that. Whatever color you get, you're going to love it and suddenly it's going to be a lot easier to justify that high price, lol! Another option is get whatever color that matches the color you most often wind up wearing on long days or the color you know you always gravitate towards when you have events with a lot of eating and drinking, because that's where these pencils really shine.
Ill get the Kiss me Quick and then ill see if i replace all my liners with PLWL. i have a list of all the bright ones

RH looks nice on you. Looks way too orange on me. Not my fave but FOD looks gorgoes on you. LOVE that one and ordered my BU . Not in a hurry though so don't mind the BO .

I must be deaf because I didn't hear a knock!

That or they hired a ninja to deliver my package!

I hope I get my package tomorrow. I'm getting a bit impatient. I want to try the PLWLP formula!

I've had them not ring or knock so many times and after I moved they just left my parcels in the unlocked lobby of my building. So MAC Canada told me to put my condo's buzzer number in my second address line for the next time and he actually buzzed me- I was shocked! LOL It's just too bad that nobody seems to get that you cant just start talking a blue streak when I answer the buzz. Talking too fast= echoing mess I can't understand!

At what point will we find out if any of these are indeed LE as rumored? It's weird. How do we know? I noticed online that some of the lipsticks say SOLD OUT and others say COMING SOON. So does that mean the SOLD OUT ones are not coming back?

Yeah, as I was saying in the fall Riri thread, my local PRO store as of today are still saying ALL the colors are permanent except for the fashion boost lip liner.

Really. What's up with Fashion Boost liner being so special to make that the only limited one? Well I backed up all of the ones that I thought may be LE just incase so I'm good either way. But it would still be nice to hear an official announcement. LOL. But I know that won't happen. haha

I had an SA in a department store tell me all were limited except Flat Out Fabulous. Such random info everywhere
