MAC Retro Matte collection (September 12, 2013)

Yeah, as I was saying in the fall Riri thread, my local PRO store as of today are still saying ALL the colors are permanent except for the fashion boost lip liner.

Really. What's up with Fashion Boost liner being so special to make that the only limited one? Well I backed up all of the ones that I thought may be LE just incase so I'm good either way. But it would still be nice to hear an official announcement. LOL. But I know that won't happen. haha

I had an SA in a department store tell me all were limited except Flat Out Fabulous. Such random info everywhere

Because MAC has picked up on our purple fetish and is taking every opportunity to capitalize on the frenzy. Make it limited, and we'll want it all the more.

I hate all of the conflicting info! I asked at a counter in Macy's and they said all the lipsticks were perm.

Wait the purple liner is limited edition? I still haven't bought a purple liner for my heroin or strong woman but I hardly wear them, maybe once only so it's hard to justify buying a liner just for them lol Is FB anything like the permanent purple liner? Liba I remember what you posted months ago before this collection came out. You said the nude retro mattes don't look/perform as well as the more colorful ones. You are so right. The nude one does not work for me in this formula. It is a darn beautiful shade and I can see myself using it every single day and not get tired of it until it's all gone, but I think it would work better on me if it's a satin or cremesheen.

My favorite lipstick from this collection is fixed on drama. I didn't order it online when the collection first launched and when I wanted to buy it was gone from the website. Went to the store and tried it on with Lust for life and was instantly pure pure love. MA told me was the best lip combo she ever seen on me and I have lots of lipsticks. Also tried glamour feast with this look Love it.

So I was supposed to wait till next week to purchase All Fired Up and Relentlessly Red, but I couldn't resist any longer and went to my local Macy's after work to pick them up! Thankfully they still had both colors in stock!

I also ended up playing with the lip pencils while there and fell in LOVE with Dynamo and Shock Value.

I ended up purchasing both and I will go back soon to pick up High Energy and Fashion Boost when they are both back in stock.

Also, to my surprise, they still had Fixed On Drama in stock!

I debated getting a BU, but skipped on it since everything will be perm and back in stock in a few weeks.

I'm going to try and take some pics tonight of all my Retro Matte lippies I've gotten so I can contribute to the thread.
