MAC Ricky and Nicki for Viva Glam Discussion

I think I can pass on this one. With the exception of Viva Cyndi I now only purchase the original Viva and VG 4. I love the idea and the charity behind it is close to my heart but I really feel MAC left their "all ages, all races, all sexes" motto with some of these. IMHO they are NOT as universally wearable/appealing as the original 6. It seems that lately it is more about the celebrity attached to the campaign than an amazing color where previously it felt like equal weight was given to both.

Don't fling too many flames. This is just my humble opinion.

Thanks for the link! I actually like the colour more than I thought I would. I was worried it was just going to be another very cool pink, but I like that it has a coral tone to it. Only thing that worries me is that it's a satin finish, which can look a little dry on my lips.
I love Satin Finish! I just condition first and no problem. This one is a slam dunk for me...I am starting to feel not so sad that I missed out on Pink Pigeon

It looks like such a pretty color, I'll definatly grab one, maybe two if it's BU worthy. But on the blog it said it settled into fine lines some, so it makes sense why ricky is the lip primer, to help stop the lines, and also for those who feel that the l/s won't suite them (I'M NOT ONE OF THEM

nicki's doesn't exactly look universally flattering, but i guess once you have it you can play around with and make it work for you...
