So my Hidden Treasure from Nordstrom was supposed to come today. I had the early shift and usually UPS comes in the late afternoon/early evening. I threw myself down for a nap and my dogs always sound the alarm when someone approaches the door. I woke up, knowing I wasn't that tired to have slept through the dogs barking at the UPS driver, checked my UPS tracking and came across this:


UPS FAIL! The package is rescheduled for tomorrow but I'm thinking - I know I've ordered from Nordstrom.com before, so I know my address is correct. UPS My Choice updated me about my package when it was received and my original due date of today, so more confirmation my address was entered correctly. I'm hoping my bigger-than-it-needs-to-be Nordstrom box in crappy package padding doesn't equal me receiving a mutilated package where the address label ripped off and my item is either missing or mutilated as well. Agh! So stressful!

Your regular driver may be on vacation and you have a temp driver delivering your packages. That's exactly what happened to me. All of a sudden I had packages that weren't being delivered and the notice I got from UPS My Choice said that they needed a new address. For two days, the temp driver was taking my packages back to the UPS office. He wasn't dropping them off at the front desk of the building or bringing them directly to my door. I did a live chat and called to verify my information and to let them know that my packages weren't being delivered.

Oh yeah, and my address information was accurate.

That would make sense. I did have 2 packages delivered last night, though! So at least I just have one little package that needs to find its way. The only thing I worry about is my HT being damaged. That might be a little hard to replace since it's LE and it's been almost a week since the in-store launch!

You'll get it soon enough Make sure you pick up what you want early! I didn't order Supercontinental online right away and when I finally went to order it they were sold out (in Canada anyway). I had to wait until it launched in store to pick it up. I hope you enjoy your goodies when it launches in September!

Supercontinental is now sold out on the MAC site. I agree about CC being a definite true fall color. I am still trying to wear some of my newer summery colors and haven't used anything from the Style Seeker collection yet, except Supercontinental. While I like CC, I too noticed how creamy it was in an uncomfortable way, but I wore Moxie today and it was sooo dry that maybe this creamier matte will wear better for a longer time...not sure though since basically I have only tried it on. I did love the color so much though that I considered a backup for a second, but I think that I will just get one of the brick colors from the NARS fall collection if I love it instead. When I swatched OTH, I had a very hard time getting any color pay off. I swatched it with a brush since some have said that the oils from their fingers could leave a residue like film on the top layer. I am hoping it applies better to my eyes than it did when I swatched it because they are beautiful, unique colors.

i thought the same thing but got i cause i didnt want to be sad for not getting it. i find hidden treasure more pretty and mac guy recommended worldly wealth as the most unique to him. so that one is in my cart

I ordered Worldly Wealth Blush last night since I caved and today I placed an order on Supercontinential on Nordstrom's website since it's sold out on MAC's website.

I feel a 2nd order is eminent and WW will be coming soon. I can't get on the HT bandwagon though. It will just look like a bruise on my cheek, I know that. Merrily is my go to when I want that strong brick red blush look.

Yeahh! I got my HT It's sooo pretty! It arrived safely and un-mutilated! The little sticker the destination warehouse prints off the morning it's out for delivery had one number difference on my address. The other label (that Nordstrom created) was correct and not peeled off or anything!

It's in the same family as Outlaw, but I haven't tried HT on yet. I've been wearing Outlaw all week, though. I looove it, especially topped with Blonde msf.

im glad you got ur blush! i dont have the nars one. the only blush i have that is kind of similar is frankly scarlet but that one is matte.

I got Hidden Treasure because it was unique in my stash, Outlaw blush aside. I don't own many reddened blushes, so I felt it was welcome fare. Supercontinental I bought because my coral blush stash is overflowing and rampant, but I can never have enough peaches and corals. Worldly Wealth I skipped out for reasons above, but I think it would be quite gorgeous on darker complexions versus my sheet-white fair skin! Mac-Guy already recommended WW as being his pick for the most unique blush in this collection. It's all up to you! But I do feel that all three would work across skintones, though I feel WW and HT especially would work for your skintone

Duckrodeo, if you already have Earthshine and that works for you, WW will give you a little different effect, but the two are pretty closely related. I loved WW's texture, but the color was dirty on me the way Earthshine was. I had to pass, even with loving the metallic sheen it has, but it might be the fall version of ES.

Ahhh that made my lemm dwindle. Thanks! LOL. I also remembered Temptalia said WW is close to Glorify and that is very easy for me to sheer out and give a glow, without being dirty. I do love Earthshine, but only if I'm going for the super dramatic full-on contour look. It's a great shade, but also not a look I go for on the day-to-day. If I want to do a light contour I use my Lancome matte bronzer or Pressed Amber!

Idk if I neeeeed Worldly Wealth, but my lemm goat is certainly butting me, now that I see that it's selling out. I DO adore my Pressed Amber that I got from my CCO a couple months ago, and that is more of a neutral brown, so I might stick with that. Nothing against the orange of WW, but I think Pressed Amber just works better for me and my coloring.

I'm so happy with HT! Since I know I don't need that much to apply it, I'm skipping a BU. I hope I don't regret it! But Outlaw is certainly gorgeous and is permanent, so if I ever need to replace a used up reddish blush, at least there's always NARS.

i actually use pressed amber to contour, when i feel like contouring cause im not used to it. nice that you got it at the cco. i havent been to my cco since nov last year. i have to stop shopping and save some buck to go there and shop more. if that makes sense

They had a lot of Pressed Amber, as well as all the bronzers from Surf Baby! I was surprised. I contemplated getting two PA, but I don't forsee ever running out of a mineralized cheek product, since less is used versus an MSF or even a regular blush, so I just picked the best swirl I could find and bought the one. I wish my CCO wasn't almost an hour away. This time of year it's best I stay away because it's back-to-school and that outlet mall gets super crazy busy!
