The brushes are so, so pretty!!:yummy: That's all I want and it really pains me that I just ordered the Heirlooms brush box that has a 129 and I purchased a 227 about a month ago.

well, then why they put the 227 in the picture? that brush doesn't even look like a 224.

At that price I'm not crazy about the color selection. I better be wowed before I pay NARS prices for a MAC lipstick. I do get that it's high-end MAC. I just really want the Mystery Powder, everyone has been raving about them.

This collection doesn't do much for me. Phew. I already cleaned myself out on the Antiquitease color collection with the mineral shadows. Plus Metal X is coming and I want both pigment sets with Curiositease. Stylistics is just not my style. My wallet is happy at least.

I know it looks like the 227, but my trainers as well as the update book told me that it's the 224. =/ I really really really think they meant the 227 though.

Does anyone know what regular shades translate to the Mystery Powders? For example, I use MSF Natural in Medium, would I be able to use the lightest powder?

Wow... I love the display pic with Alex Wek! This collection isn't really my cup of tea but the sheer mystery powder might be nice. Does anyone who bought it last year think that it's very much like MSF natural or are they completely different?

For sure I'll get the Soft Pout l/s & one Softspark powder. We always want something once we see the actual swatches or product

i honestly don't understand how this is tacky? but ok. i like it. i think i might be picking up a lipstick, i love lipsticks but hate how mac lipsticks look like pocket vibrators. this one definitely won't!

Does anyone know how the texture of the l/s and l/g will be?
I love the texture of last year Couture's l/s!
Hopefully they will be as good!

sorry. i was paying more attention to my update book and not the pic. it must be the 227 then. i can see a mistake in the book happening more than a mistake in the picture!

For those of you familiar with the DC'd Sheer Shimmer Powders, the Sheerspark powders seem like the next iteration of that product, eh?

hi,
more details... just so we keep on wanting or deciding "will we or won't we buy it"

http://www.cosmoty.de/news/1990/
(plus pricing in Euro and addresses of the shops that will be carrying the products.. sounds as limited as the pearls you can count on the lipstick tubes)

enjoy guys and girls

Many fabric evening bags go for around that price.

Re: Stylistics Discussion

okay so i'm really starting to like this collection. at first i thought the compacts looked too gaudy but i'm actually starting to find them pretty haha. Same with the brushes and lip stuff.

The clutch is actually really cute IMO. Reminds me of something my grandmother would have owned back in the day. Plus i'm sure it'll be a lot less bulky than the one from MAC Couture.

Oh and Alex Wek looks AMAZING. I would love some of the marketing from this collection!

My only concern is whether the brushes will be heavy or not.
I hope not or they won't be to easy to use.

But I'm a sucker- I'll buy something based on the fact that they have a beauty of color as the face of this campaign... its so rare that I know that if Alek can wear it, then I can wear it too.

My sentiments exactly! I think this collection looks gorgeous....a bit too expensive but definitely different.
