Received my Soft Pout lipstick today. The color is gorgeous in the tube & on my hand (NW15), but I was disappointed with the color on my lips (which are blue red darker pigmented). It has an orange undertone on the lips which just doesn't flatter very well. I do think it's pretty though...can't decide if I'll keep it or not right now.
After seeing it on my lips, it didn't make me want to go buy a back up right away...that's how I know if I will love the color in the long term

I got my package today in the mail! The compacts are absolutely gorgeous. Model Chic is fab, and I really like how sheer and subtle Solitaire is. The 129 is like 83757 times softer than the permanent one. Not sure if I'm going to use it. It's sooo expensive looking and pretty. The clutch is AMAZING. Great quality and super cute. So expensive... I don't want to use it, haha!

is the perfume exclusive to the US? sounds divine but i would be dissapointed if it's not international. i am looking to get a new perfume and was holding out for this one.

A lot of tubeorse in it.
I wasn't as crazy about it as I thought I'd be by reading the description on the website but as usual you really need to try a fragrance on your skin to know what it is like.
So, I can't wait to try it.
It should be coming shortly as what I heard. Let's hope so!

I got my Stylistics in the mail yesterday and was very disappointed in the lipbrush. I thought it looked really clunky and quite frankly unattractive. It reminded me of something out of a gothic horror movie (Frankenstein comes to mind). I am sending it back.
The l/s in Stylistics, however, is absolutely gorgeous! More of a yellow-red than a blue-red which I like. Still undecided on the Sheerspark pressed powder. I got it in Solitaire. After reading other reviews on it, I'm afraid it's going to be way too sparkly for my taste.
Overall, I thought the packaging for this collection looked cheap. I was fully expecting to love it and can see glue smears on the plastic silver top of the compact and it doesn't feel as heavy as the Couture from last year.
Just my opinion, you be the judge.

The orange-red lipstick in Stylistics is actually "Stylistic" and not "Solitaire" -- that's the Sheerspark Pressed Powder you're thinking about.

I just bought Air of Style from the Nordstroms @ South Coast Plaza. It comes boxed with a vial of the perfume, the pretty bottle and a fragrance decanter/funnel. [I'll post pics soon]
IMO, the fragrance is like a tuberose version of Marc Jacobs' gardenia. Totally different floral notes but it has that same soft yet deep lingering scent. On me, the scent is pretty long lasting. As for the bottle itself, it is beautiful but I agree with barbieh4 about the poor design. They should have given it a flat edge or a stand and a better pump. The pump looks so flimsy and I don't think theres a cap for it either. I haven't tried it yet but maybe the cap of the vial will fit over the bottle. I think it's worth the $$ especially if you're a MAC and fragrance lover. I think it would have been even more worth it if the bottle came filled and the vial was a refill! Oh well, can't win 'em all!

So the cap for the bottle isn't even a pump. It's a plastic plug.
As long as it keeps my perfume in the bottle then I guess it's isn't too bad.

A huge thanks to Jilliandanica for the photos of the Air Of Style bottle and packaging. I have heard that the scent smells similar to Lauder's Beyond Paradise, too. I can't wait to get mine.
After three live chats with the MAC website, and no real date that the scent will be available for purchase on the site, I'm convinced that it will never appear for sale on the site. My closet Saks had already gotten the perfume and sold out of it three days ago. I am thinking now, that whatever MAC was able to produce in terms of quantity, has been sent to brick-and-mortar.

I picked up The Scene lipstick yesterday &I am in love! Such a beautiful rasberry shade!
My freestanding did have Air of Style, but this gal was hoarding it so I didn't even get to smell it
The bottle looked gorgeous though.
