Re: Stylistics Discussion

I got Hyper Chic l/g and Lighthearted mystery powder and I love both.

Hyper Chic is the perfect caramel peachy-pink on me and the mystery powder is really good over MAC or MUFE face & body foundation...glowy yet matte...at least on me.

I'm happy with my purchases..or I should say my b/f's purchases...yes that is what happens when boys make stupid bets...can i name all three chipmunks from ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS??? What kind of child of the 80's would I be if I could not...lol And he was so sure he had me...ha ha

You don't have to resort to ebay just yet. If you want either the Mystery Powder or the Sheer Sparkle Powder, just go to "Face" then "Powder" and you will see them both featured at the top. Similarly go the "Lips" then "Lipstick" and you will see the Stylistics Lipsticks. You can do the same for the glosses and the brushes. There isn't a page with the products all together any more, but all of the products (except Soft Pout lipstick) are all there.

Did anyone get the perfume? I smelled the sample at Nordstrom but they didn't have anymore left. I love the scent! Now it's sold out everywhere!

I bought both powders from Coulture the Light and medium I just didnt know if I like them so I didnt try and use them again!!! I swipped one twice to test with brush and the other one got a crack down the middle in the glass but I never used the powder go figure but it stays in there an is not loose and never damaged the powder but I just didnt know what to think about it and if I really liked it. I dont know what to think I thought about selling them cause they just sit there in there boxes!!! Does any one know any one who liked them?????

I like mine (in the darkest shade). It goes on a little light on the forehead for me at first, but it sets after a minute or so. It gives a nice finish and I like it as another alternative for setting powders.

I told ya you would like Dark Secret. After I bought it, I started using it exclusively as my setting powder. I love the finish it gives and it is perfect for my NW45 skin.

This was so back-up worthy for me that when my MIL gave me a gift card, I bought another one. [$45 is a chunk of change!]

The Couture Mystery powder from 2006 was awful on me and I gave it away but kept the compact so I transferred the other Stylistics powder into that one for my purse.

And BTW, I never saw any of the 2006 Couture Collection at the CCO. Did anyone else? I sure would buy 2 if they were $32 instead of $45.

Yes, those powders are nothing but useless glitter; no color-payoff at ALL!

I didn't like this year's compact but the Dark Secret powder in it is simply AWESOME. And, I agree, I got one of the lip brushes, the face brush and 224 and they are so gorgeous and luxurious.

You turn the compact upside down and hit it firmly in the palm of your hand and the compact pops out. The compact is held in place by a magnet in the bottom of the compact.

i wouldn't suggest putting loose powder in it because it would end up going all over the mirror inside. the only thing seperating the powder from mirror is a little sponge thing. so loose powder would go everywhere!
