you've gotta use one of mac's sharpeners for these if for nothing else. you're not gonna get a precise point, but more of a rounded point.

I went in to Nordie's today to see SA, Creamsheen and Gold Fever. Gold Fever was a total bore and the MA's were trying to figure out how they were going to sell a collection of repromotes. Fortunately homecoming season is upon us so that should take care of that.

I thought I would only pick up Wolf and Rave from this collection and be done. However after playing around with the liners I ended up with Wolf, Rave, Black Russian and Fly By Blu. They are all gorgeous and I am thinking of using them as a base/shadow too not just liner.
Also picked up Dare You and Hang Up creamsheens. Very nice.

Skin: Sincere.
Eye: Smoke & Ash (large), Smoke & Ash (small) in crease, Fascinating and Boot Black and Carbon liner, 7 Lash on top and bottom, Plushblack. Quarry on brows.
Lip: Pink Treat, Creme D'Nude, Clear.

I got Black Russian, Rave, Wolf and fly by blu

I swatched it on my hand and it was very creamy and glided easily....then I immediately wiped it off and EVERY BIT OF IT CAME OFF. I almost shit a brick. But then I swatched all four and let them sit on my hand for a minute and it took a little longer to come off.

I put on black russian before I went to work, but it was at the end of the day so my face was already greasy and oily...it stayed pretty well, but Ill have to see tomorrow how it holds up...

these better stay on me. They are really pretty....

May I ask, what technique do you use to draw on those lashes? They are very well done

What base do you use for shallow vs. deep? Works Otherworldly p/p good for that? I love the colors but when I read the comments I don't know should I buy it or not

Good to know, thanks CantAffordMAC, I have oily lids too and am debating whether to get them (I really like Rave and Fly By Blu) cuz I need my money so I can save up for Red holiday.

I would suggest paints for these shadows. But perhaps paintpots or shadesticks may work too. Its just that these shadows r so powdery and they need to be packed on 3x over or more to get the color desired. And they need a base to stick to properly. Otherwordly would make a great base for these or even bare canvas paint. hth and good luck

I got all of the eyeliners and the team violet, smoke & ash and blue zone....see what happens when I try to deny myself some Mac. I didn't buy nething from Mac for almost 2 months....

Can someone help me out here? I want to know if Fly-by-blu is anything like “Reflecto” that was in the Softsparkle Eye Pencils set in the “Curiousitease” collection last year or like “Light As Air” Powerpoint? My daughter has these at college with her so I can’t take them and compare. By the swatches “Fly-by-blu” looks much brighter and darker. And if it is then I’ll get it for her but if it is very similar to “Reflecto” or “Light As Air” then I’ll skip it.

No. There are just face charts if it is a "whole" face collection with e/s, lipstick, lipglass and blush.

I think another comparison pt b/t these and ud liners:

I picture these for a night on the town, sexy bedroom eyes etc. To me the ud liners are brighter yes, but less wearable in certain situations. Some of the UD colors are just too bright for some looks.

Besides, the pearlglides are dark, rich, intensely pigmented metallic pencils that don't budge. What more do you need?

^^For sure.. I wore my fly by flu last night and it is GORGEOUS.. and even slept in it (yeah... im gross i never take my makeup off at night. ah well) and this morning it was stillllllll on my top eye...obviously not as prominent.. but still on!

On another note-

I TRIED to put this on my water line- but they dont go on! I dont know what the deal was but they would NOT transfer to my water line- at least my fly-by-flu wouldnt.. it was weird.

Im def going to be getting the purple and the green.. I forget the names but they WILL be mine- eventually...

Is Bankroll the green one? I'd definitely pair it with Surreal e/s (permanent) or Warm Chill e/s (Cool Heat LE)

I got Rave and Wolf and I love them both! Wolf is beautiful, a mid-tone grey with gold flecks. It is so pretty when the sunlight hits it - I think it also looks taupe-ish in some lights because of the gold sheen from the glitter. And everyone is right, these do not budge...the staying power is excellent! I still want to get Bankroll and Black Russian.

Moxy: yes. bankroll is the green one.

i don't have those eyeshadows. lol could i match them to something else that doesn't have green? will it look weird.
