I've swatched Swell Baby and Short Shorts next to a few other shades I thought that looked similar.

Great swatches! Thanks ever so much..... I didn't want a lot from this collection originally as the packaging puts me off but short shorts and swell baby look really unique for me, I have no similar colours aside from Shroom which doesn't look at all close. Hmm mm......the only thing is I want all the shadows but can only afford a couple. What are your must have shadows from this collection guys? And why you do feel they're must haves? Pretty pleasssse help me decide ladies and gents!

Surf USA is a very unique color. I've got a lot of turquoises (not only MAC) and no other color is similar. Also it's the perfect color for summer.

well personally i am not buying any because i can dupe them. however if you haven't got dupes then i think the must haves are surf usa and short shorts. the yellow looks quite nice too those would be the three i picked

Thanks ever so much, Bunty! That's really helpful, to be honest I hadn't even considered Surf USA despite not owning a colour that's even close - I just panic with brights and with my pale blue eyes I wasn't sure but I'm keeping an open mind

^I think Surf USA and Short Shorts will go first out of the eyeshadows - just as well, as I don't plan on getting them!

[/quote] To be honest my eyeshadow collection of mac is very small and still growing, so I have none like the ones from this collection though if you have any perms which are dupes for these I'm all ears as I'm sure they would be cheaper! I have short shorts as a definite maybe, the only shade which doesn't appeal is the reddish one? Saffron?

Ahhh! I can already feel my wallet screaming! I've got meself a long list going with this collection. I truly like all of the lipsticks and lipglasse, with hibiscus and strange potion being at the top. The cheek powder looks gorgeous but I think I want to see some more swatches first or perhaps check it out in person before buying. Surf USA is the only eyeshadow that catches my eye, I have been on a hunt for blue eyeshadows lately, not sure, just one of my craves

Are you in the US? It will probably launch here online on either the 23rd or 24th, randomly at some point during the day/ They usually don't have it show up on the front page online when it launches though; you have to search for it. I'll probably start checking 2-3 times a day on the 22nd using the search function and the site map. Or, of course, you could lurk Specktra all day, as someone ALWAYS posts as soon as they see it's up. We like to help each other and out here and help everyone get what they want. It's one of the reasons I love Specktra!

I still can't decide on what to get. I think my haul will not be a big one. I'll mostly likely get Saffron e/s and a l/s. But I know how it usually goes when I go and start to play quite often my haul grows way more than planned.

Thanks for the e/s swatches. I love my Solar White so I don't need Short Shorts. At some point MAC will need to repromote SW as I am about to finish my second and only have one backup left. I love it.

I'm over in Japan right now, or else I would just wait outside the store until they opened haha. That is really interesting though, thank you so much for the great tips ;] I will definitely keep an eye out on here right around that time.

[/quote] I have both Nylon and Ricepaper on my perm wish list for MAC (which doesn't get a look in these days due to all these collections! Lol) so it's good to know if I don't get Short Shorts, Nylon is an alternative. I seen a few swatches of other teals on here I think and I think steamy was close though paler! I so need Christine to post her review of these products, she's normally really good at swatching comparisons and offering perm alternatives though I have a feeling with it coming to the UK first I may have to buy 'blind'.....though to be honest I'm not sure I would wear Sun Blonde and Surf USA - I'm shy with brights!
