MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I picked up a few items from this collection and I'm considering one of the bronzers if it's still there in a week or so.

I got:

E/S - Short Shorts, Swell Baby

Lipglass - Girl on Board

I already owned Naked (pigment)

Funny story...I signed up a while ago to receive text messages from MAC, and tonight I got one announcing the release of Surf Baby...REALLY, guys? REALLY??

I paired Hibiscus & My Paradise with a light, shimmery apricot Clinique shadow, winged eyeliner & lots of mascara Definitely going to have to go back for Swell Baby at the very least. Bonus belly shot & Wesley the cat. Also, it appears I have no arms in this picture, lol. Ah well. Off to run errands!

I finally received Saffron and I really like it. It was one of the shades that I thought I don't need, but it is a beautiful color for a summer look. It is less pigmented than any of the other SB e/s, but as I wear it on the inner third of the lid - almost as a contour - I am glad that it is not uber-pigmented. Saffron goes well with the Careblend bronzer and MP. Yeah!

I am curious: those of you who bought Saffron from the MC collection, is it the same Saffron as in SB or is there any significant different (especially in pigmentation).

I only got Surf USA from this collection (I'm hoping to buy Sun Blonde and Saffron tomorrow), but here's a look I did yesterday using it + Sugarpill's Buttercupcake






sorry about the blatant eyelash glue. I guess it hadn't dried yet, and I didn't realize it. lol

[/quote] I bought Saffron from the MC collection and the pigmentation is awesome. People who bought it from SB say it's not so pigmented. It swatched the same for me the 3 times that I've seen it in store, though. The color looks to be the same.

Shontay, that's how I felt when I swatched Saffron from SB at the store. I thought it was pigmented, too.

Off topic. I used my 187 for the first time today. It felt so soft! It's silly to admit, but I bought this brush a while ago. I kept admiring it by simply looking at it because it's just too beautiful.

I'm glad I finally got to use it. LOL. I cannot wait to use it with some pigmented blushes. I sometimes get the crown looks with my 129. I think I need some practice.

I cannot wait to wear my SB goodies tomorrow!

Go and get it, girl! I am glad that they re-stocked all the e/s. Now they just should have done the same with My Paradise.

surf usa is one of my favourite shadows right now. i'm so thankful that hubby bought it for me and im shocked at myself thinking i could skip it! lol!
