MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

Well, I've been staring at the swatch of My Paradise for about ten minutes, and it may be crazy for NW15, but I think I'm gonna try it. I'm trying to venture out into uncomfortable makeup territory and try new things since I find myself falling into the same routine every morning, and I think a subtle swipe of My Paradise might be kind of interesting. I'm excited for it.
My new list:

Summer Stash and Surf the Ocean pigment stacks
and we'll have to see about lipglass since there aren't any swatches yet.
It's a big haul for me, but Pink Cult is the only thing I've purchased since Mickey C and the only thing I'm going to buy until May, so I don't feel guilty and I have time to save!

i'm nc20 so i'm pretty light too but i still want it! we'll just have to use bigger, fluffier brushes and make sure we build the colour up!

Go for it! I like it besides the overspray, I am hoping its low on the shimmer/sheen. I want something more matte. I get very dewy in the summer. extra shimmers don't help one bit.
Looking at the shadows again, they look so dupeable, which i like because I can recreate MAC summer '11 eyes with items I already have on hand. already plotting on using Saffron and Cool Heat together, like now. Money saved, very happy!

^ SInce you twisted my arm (lol) My Paradise is on my list again. I have Cool Heat and Saffron....you're right about the colors being dupeable. $ saved is always great!

This may shock some of you since you love them so much but I don't think I've ever bought from a summer collection before! Unless you count tendertones.
I'm not thrilled by the pigment stacks, I passed when they were out with SCF and I agree that the purple one in some pictures looks the same as the SCF purple one, the blue one I kind of like the bottom colour but I reckon deep blue green is similar but prettier and I already own it (beautiful wet as a liner). Passing on bronzer cause I like looking like a ghost lol. I'm another disliker of suntints I passed last time they were out cause there was no colour payoff and they just looked really greasy to me.
Maybes are Surf USA and the teal powerpoint just need to see in real life to see if they're similar to anything I have.Shockingly I can't remember if I have strange potion so I probably won't be getting that although it looks pretty I either own it or previously passed lol.

Same! If I have shimmer/glitter on my cheeks in the summer, I look like a crazy mess. I like a little sheen sometimes, but if this is really shimmery, I can easily pass.

Thanks for the swatches Paparazziboy! I'm so glad I'm not interested in any collection before this one because I'm spending a chunk of change here. My list:

Both eyeliners because I love MAC eyeliners like there's no tomorrow.
I haven't been this excited since Peacocky! I was excited for WW but not as much.

Definitely smaller than my TTB haul last year
I really like how My Paradise looks, but hate the overspray thing.
I think I'm going to skip it since I'm going to buy Cargo's Key Largo blush and in my eyes, they (sorta? lol) look alike.

So I want: Hibiscus lipstick The gilded white liner(forgot the name) My Paradise Blush-I am so upset that I may need this.It looks so awesome and pigmented. I thought I was immune to coral blushes now.
