MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

The packaging better not be effing orange or green! lol. I love my Marine Life! Such a pretty coral. I wore it today and it felt like summer even though it was cold and pouring rain.

To the Beach was actually the only beach collection that I loved, the other summer collections colors were too warm for my liking. I wished they released Parrot again.

I think I'd take another round of orange packaging if it meant that the collection had products I could actually wear. Marine Life is a big favourite of mine, because it's just a perfect coral-pink on me. I find it just lights up my face perfectly.


I didn't get parrot when it came out, although it looks very nice. What I would really love to see them repromote, since I was dumb and didn't get it last year, is Parylicious pigment. That's very bright and summery and I'm not sure why I ever thought I didn't need it. Boohoo.

Partylicious was a lovely piggie.. it's in my piggie stash too.. but I have to hold onto it for refs in future.

To the Beach was my fave summer collection to date.

I'm intrigued to find out what the packaging will be for this collection, but what I really want is the colour story.

THIS! i had two, sold one when they were HTF, and then when I came to terms with the fact that I was never going to use the one i had left, i put it up in a sale and no one is reaching for it at all!

Hahaha. I enjoy my marine life.... but I was so sucked into the hype that I bought two. I'm never going to use one, let alone two. I've tried to sell the other one before, but I don't think anyone wants it!!

yeah i dont hate the orange - i just think there are plenty more awesome colours to use!

That's pretty much how I feel about it too. As much as I hope they will use a different color this year, I really liked the biology textbook appearing pictures they used on the TTB packaging and the bag (although I did not shell out the cash to buy one, even when I saw it for cheap at the CCO). But, if the colors are usable, I agree with Katred, the inside stuff is what counts! Plus, if it's orange again, it will match the stuff from TTB and NSF that I already own...

MAC better repromote Parrot e/s! It's the most gorgeous color ever! When I bought it from the Clearance Sale, I thought of Susanne and her love for Parrot. Teals for the summer will be rocking once again as well as corals!

When I think of Surf Baby, I think of blues like the ocean waves...so maybe we wont get orange packaging. Blues would be lovely!
