MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I'm sticking to my same list. Only 3 items. The lightest shadow is interesting to me, but I'll get a better idea once I see swatches. I'm not falling for that coral blush. Enough already. I have BOA, Marine Life(x's 2), Fleur Power, Gina(Nars) and Torrid(Nars). Also, those Sun Tints can kick rocks because the taste is terrible. No matter how carefully I put it on, I always get that perfumey scent in my mouth. Just horrible. Off topic, but I went to the CCO in south Jersey and it's amazing! I got things that came out before I wore anything other than gloss. I got Strawbaby lipstick(From Fafi. so gorgeous, I should've bought 2!) and 4 shadows: Newly Minted, Warming Trend, Sorcery, and Flourishing. I'm excited. :lol:

I like that goldish color Just a Smidge, I wonder if that a lip tint or a gloss ?? The blush is def off my list becuz I have two other coral blushes , but now I think imma add the makeup bag to my list.
Im also curious about these blush sticks

I think I may be the only one, but I'm loving those makeup bags! Remind me of trips to the beach with my family when I was a kid. I think I may have to get one of those.

And am I the only one not seeing a second blush color? Or am I just imagining things? I want a blush from this collex, but BOA is enough coral blush for me for a lifetime.

You're not the only one. At first, there was a second one mentioned and now it seems to have disappeared from any communications. I guess it got canceled. I really like the look of this blush, but I have BOA and Devil from the regular (pro) line. I don't know if I need one that is halfway between the two of them.

It's a sun tint, all of those swatches pictured are. They came out in the Baby Bloom collection a while ago.

I like the blush, whatever its going to be called it looks orange coral. i don't have one of those yet. I wonder what finish it will be. I hope matte.


I want to see some prelim info on the finishes of the products So important!

They aren't lip gelee's, they're actually liquid lip balm called "sun tints"

Looking at these swatches and the photo of the whole collection, I'm GUESSING the third sun tint is Full of Grace (4th swatch from the left).

^^ I have Full of Grace, and I really like it for something like a day at the beach or playing volleyball or something during the summer, although I don't wear it for makeup looks, per say. I think I prefer my tinted lip conditioner to that, although it is convenient not to have to carry around a lip brush - I hate applying with my fingers!!! I also really liked it when I was traveling with kids. It is a little liquidy/goopy, though, for those who don't like that texture.

maybe i am being overly harsh? i'm just sad there were no tendertones. pbut yes the texture is a massive issue for me. but perhaps for some people it will be nice. espcially if you are on the go like Jen says
