MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

Bad, bad enablers in this forum... *shakes head sadly* - I too blame Specktra for the rising numbers of lippies, e/s, glosses, blushes, ectetc. - you get the picture...

That said, this collection is kinda strange for me. I really like the packaging, I even like the promo pic (there, I said it) - but the products? They leave me cold. Are MAC an me falling out of love?! It's similar with Quite Cute and the other collections.
Maybe, pending swatches, I want the blush and Hibiscus l/s...

hey ladies!! i haven't posted in a very long time, but have been lurking quite a bit recently.

in one of the promo pics (the one with the board shorts and flip-flops) there looked to be a a white compact with surf baby written in blue. but i don't seem to see it in any other promo pics! grrr. i thought it was the blush compacts but those seem to have the clear window lid. could it just be a prop they threw in to confuse me??

i thought it was really cute, it looks like a surf wax tin! i hope that is included in the collection somehow!!

I'm not sure if this was asked but wasn't there supposed to be 2 blushes in this collection?? Or is it just that coral one i'm drooling over?

And is it just me or does Strange Potion look a little different in the pics? It looks almost more "punchy" but i like!!! Too bad i already have SP and never used it yet!

I have enough makeup for an entire school of teen girls but that doesn't stop me from loving new products. I am a bit more picky now though. I don't know what I did before specktra and all the lovlies here with their reviews and swatches, You guys help me make better choices on products that I will actually use and not just purchase because they look pretty in the store but not necessariy on me.
Yay specktra.

i thought it was really cute, it looks like a surf wax tin! i hope that is included in the collection somehow!!

Wishing for this color story and swatches is like wishing for Summer to be over so I'm kinda being patient over here. And at the same time I'm trying to stay away from MUFE. I need help and Specktra isn't helping. Ha! I am too picky with makeup now since I have so much, but I do use EVERYTHING I buy be it only once or twice but it does get used so I don't feel bad. Makeup makes me happy. Purses too...shoes... You all get what I'm trying to say. It's awesome being a girl!

oh yeah! i love being a girl too! although we have some hot guys on specktra that rock some make up looks too! and that is great that although you have a big collection you still use everything!
