Atleast it won't sell out as quick than! To me Bust Out seems different to to Spitfire as its more purple - definitely a no buy for me as I've only wore Playtime once out of the house and have yet to try Courting Lilac!
nuuu Courting lilac is beautiful! I didn't get it because it was sold out when I came to MAC store and it wasn't on my wishlist!

Right now all I want from this collection are the peach lipstick and teal eyeshadow. Of course I was not going to buy that much from Quite Cute either.

I hope its just because of the packaging bcuz if its perm Im gonna start spending more $$$ on other brands. My Paradise Blush $28 ??????? really MAC ??? I might just take that $28 and buy a Nars Blush
The only MAC blush that came close to being worth that was MA. And in that case you got a lot more than the size of My Paradise.

I agree with Shontay--drop the $$$ on a NARS blush instead. I'd suggest looking at Cactus Flower in addition to Torrid as an alternative. Plus NARS has a mirror in it.

My Paradise blush is more $$ because it's the size of a MSF which I guess I can understand, but they could have just made it a regular sized blush.

Crap bust out looks great on the lips....must resist! lol I'm still pretty firm only getting the teal stack and good lovin gloss. But like Laylalovesmac said, it looks like it can be dupable. So it might just be the teal stack for me.

When I see the promo...that girl looks so damn freaky I cant even look at it lol
In the picture with the guys she really looks scary.

I was like WTF when I saw the pigments. When are they going to release some new pigments! I am yet to see that, pigments are getting no love recently

i am contemplating getting the estee lauder starfish blush/bronzer instead of the surf baby blush, i just think cos it's more wearable i would use it more often, and i need another coral blush like a hole in the head, i dont have anything bronzy except for refined golden
oohh tts what i was planning to do.. also the starfish is not an overspray..
Nonsense! It was made for us. :bigstar:
True...I'll give it a go anyway. I'll be mad if I don't get it and then want it later and it's gone.

Agreed . . . . . I have Catcus Flower already & I love it . . .. I am def skipping My Paradise Blush (kicked off list for good) !!!!!!!!!!! I swatched Torrid recently in the store and it was very pretty !!!!!!!!

So far my list for this
-Hisbiscus l/s
-Bust Out l/s (this is actually a maybe)
-Saffron e/s
-Krazy Kahuna l/g
-Strange Potion l/g (I forgot that I wrote it on the bottom of my VV list and therefore missed out)

I've never bought a pigment stack. They are looking a little interesting though. How much product is in those, like how much of each pigment compared to full size pigments?
I'm curious how Bust Out! compares to Violetta and Madly Magenta. If it is too close to those two I may skip it.
I think Violetta looks deeper and on me, at least, has a sort of metallic sheen. Bust Out seems much more subtle like some other Mac colors from a collection not too long ago that bored me to tears. I'm fed up. I want a nice purple, but this kind of shade just bores me. I've seen it too much from Mac recently. I'll stick to flaunting it.
Yeah, not Melon again! It seems like those pigments were just thrown in without a second thought.
I don't even own Melon and I'm tired of seeing it. It's time for new pigments. So I am definitely over the idea of owning Bust Out. It was a fleeting thought, anyway. Back to Gilded White liner, Hibiscus, Strange Potion(back up), Surf the Ocean pigment stacks, and I'm running the hell away from the counter before I lose my mind and buy other crap for the hell of it(yes, that does happen to me. Caught up in the moment).

I'm not sure what Mac were thinking just throwing their two most popular pigments in there for no reason. The collection is well big enough without it and including them just calls attention to the fact that they've failed to come out with any new pigments in their Spring/ Summer collections. Last year there were some excellent ones in the Alice & Olivia collection, so I was hopeful that we'd see some by midway through the year.

What grinds my gears is that they probably made it bigger to make room for the damn overspray. Nonetheless, if it's larger, I guess it's worth the extra price. I'm just not sure I need all of these gigantic blushes Mac is releasing. My regular blushes are starting to look wimpy by comparison!

oh please dnt let them increase the price. although i heard that they will be doing tt permanently here (as if paying US$23 per lipstick is not a lot, they must increase it to US$25?)

Yes, MAC has released a lot of similar purples, and this is one of them! I'd like to see something similar to Lavender Whip or a medium blue based purple! Something not too dark, not sheer, not magenta ...

I'm getting a bit 'meh' about this collection now. After seeing the Euro prices things do seem a bit too expensive and it probably is due to the packaging. Do we have prices in Sterling yet or are we still guessing going by the Euro prices? I'm disappointed there are no blush sticks. I was looking forward to the blush but as it is an overspray the pretty part will just disappear and I'm pretty sure I could get something else similar and I can't even decide if I'd wear that colour much.

There are some things I will definately try to get hold of, Hibiscus is a must have and I love the look of Surf The Ocean pigment stack. I might possibly go for a bronzer either in pan or stick form but it depends on how it looks on as I only have Golden and that barely shows on my skin. I'd like the yellow eye shadow and maybe Saffron. I might buy a backup of Strange Potion as it is one of my favourites. I'm curious about the Suntints. I also like the look of Bust Out! but I have Violetta, Style Curve, Playtime and Spitfire already. I do like lustre finishes though... hmmm

I tried it today and I don't think I'd wear it alone but it might be ok layered over a nice gloss, at the rate MAC is going they might bring out a similar colour - you never know! :)
