MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I have now tried both the Careblend Bronzer and the Skinsheen Bronzer Stick. I will post pictures of the stick later, but I just wanted to share my experience with the careblend with you.

It is by far the bronzer I have tried. Ever. And I have tried them all, It is so smooth, soft and easy to blend. It just blends by itself. It is completely fool proof and there is no way you can make this look bad. It is just the most beautifull bronzer texture I have ever tried. You must give this a try and MAC just HAS to make this perm.

Hellooooooooooooooo you gorgeous Specktra girlies! Just got home from my lunch out and so a Swell Baby FOTD is waiting....this colour is beautiful IMHO! And it lends itself to a smoky eye but a lighter smokey eye. I used paintpot in painterly all over the lid, short shorts as the inner corner and brow highlight, then swell baby all over the bottom half of my lid, darkening it on the outer corner with stovepipe black, which was then blended further out towards the brow! Pink cult was the blush and Angel was the l/s! I love love love these shadows, they're amazing!


































I absolutely love the nice soft smokey effect of swell baby, sometimes a smokey grey tends to have a bluish tone which isn't very flattering but this is so neutral! I can't wait to try out more looks with it

Thanks :-D I actually think the Gold-Go-Lightly will look even better. I always look better in golden bronzers, and I will buy that one, when it launches here monday morning. But the texture is just to die for!

The Stick Bronzer looks very similar to The Nars Multiple but it's very different to the Nars Multiples that I have tried. It's ridiculously pigmented. I have tried it in Tan-Tint, which is the lightest colour and even that is very pigmented.

This is my swatch and that was one swipe!!!!



Temptalia is aboslutely right when she says, that you do not want to make a stroke on your cheek with this. You want to dab it lightly.

But it works great. When you use a light hand you get beautifull results, and it is a great stick bronzer.

Mrs B - u look gorgeous with the products from this collection. You also have such beautiful eyes and you're one of the few ppl i've seen who pull off the platinum blond look this week, love it!

Ok, now that I've seen more swatches, I don't think I want Surf USA anymore. It'll be either the teal pigment set, KK lipgloss or nothing.

Thank you so much!! I love the products from Surf Baby, I think it says a lot about the quality of the products though as I find the packaging a total turn off but they're worth owning for the product quality!

Platinum blonde can be a fairly hard colour for most people to wear, so thats very kind of you to say!

Aww Wish, this really isn't fair and I would consider complaining to MAC - I know its free shipping but why on earth it hasn't been delivered by now I'll never know!

Thanks so much, I love Hibiscus, its such a nice colour and applies so evenly which is a big plus. Is vegas volt perm?

I don't think complaining would get me anywhere tbh, they could only say sorry and they wont do that because standard delivery is 2-5 working days so it won't be late anyway as long as it gets here by Tuesday. Yes Vegas Volt is permanent, it is on my list to get one day

Yeah, you're probably right but it still doesn't seem fair! I shall have to check that out though perm shades don't seem to get a look in with all the collections lately!!

MrsB, that soft smoky look is just gorgeous on you. Your eyes are already so vivd, but have that wash of deeper colour around them just makes them look electric. You should definitely try VV when you get a break from the LE collections. It's another one that would look astounding with your eyes.
