I'm suprisingly happy there is a large amount of time between announcement of collections and their release dates, because if they were too close I would blindly buy everything. Thankfully, I now only want 3 things from this collection:

Strange Potion l/g
Girl on Board l/g
Gilded White e/l

I really want to see what Hibiscus looks like on someone with a darker skintone, unfortunately by the time I'd get around to a store or counter it'll probably be sold out so I'm just not gonna bother with it.

wearing the minty green and silver from the pigment stack today. i am not sure what to think really. i love how they look swatched on my arm but on the eyes.... it's kinda blingy if that makes sense!

Yeah, Christine warned in her review that they were all very shimmery and that it's best not to use just those colors on the eye at the same time. Though some people might like that kind of look. I'm not sure myself yet, I'll definitely need to give them a test drive.

well the minty green has gone from my lids and the silver seems to have taken over! and i had no time to fix it or stick a different shadow over the top and today of all days i have my company owner coming to my store and i look like there is a disco on my eye lids!

Hmmm, traveling shadow? Looks like a job for NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk! (Though hopefully I won't have to resort to that.)

i am torn. do i get what i want before i get my procard in the mail, or suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous sell outs? (tee hee!)
i do love a discount, though.
more than likely, though i'll get a few things just to be safe; especially since hibiscus seems to be on everyone's list.

hibiscus
my paradise
sun blonde
saffron
and maybe the tan nail polish. (if i don't get the khaki one from sephora before the launch)

I've been fighting with myself about whether or not to get the pigment stacks...I think I'm going to love the colours but never really wear them that much...oh, so torn!

yeah apparantely,MAC pro does not put special packaging collections on hold? now I called in earlier to pick up the items on my list..wow!

^ agree with Ingenue.. this is a lovely and more wearable coral...Toxic Tale has more shock value tho but I think this one's a winner in the collex.

Did you call the PRO store in NYC? I was just there this morning and the phone was ringing OFF THE HOOK from people who wanted to know if the collection was released and if they could put items on hold. It was pandamonium on the phone! Get to the store asap if ya can.

Just back from South Beach Pro and I got exactly what I said I would
My Paradise blush and Hibiscus l/s. ANNNNNNDDDD one more thing
I couldnt help it the pigmentation on Surf USA is INSANE!!!!! It had to come home with me!!!!
The MUA said I was the 1st person in to purchase from the collection and that the purple stack was on backorder.
UNTIL JUNE!!! Who knows it still may show up on the website on Tuesday. I'm contemplating the stack I did swatch but we will see.

Just called the pro store in ny and they have it. I'm going when I get out of class at 2. I'll get there before 4. I have a bad feeling hibiscus and surf the ocean will be gone. In that case it's a wasted trip, but I have to try. :sigh: I'm exhausted but I want my stuff.

Yay, I got my itmes too! My Paradise and Surf The Ocean; at my pro store (NYC) the purple stack (Summer Stash) was also not in, but they said they think they were getting them in later today or tomorrow. We'll see; I may exchange Surf The Ocean for Summer Stash although the pigmentation in STO is rrrreally nice.

Maybe they need to release a pan or compact that is ALL overspray so you can get that fresh overspray look.
