MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

Just called the pro store in ny and they have it. I'm going when I get out of class at 2. I'll get there before 4. I have a bad feeling hibiscus and surf the ocean will be gone. In that case it's a wasted trip, but I have to try.

I'm exhausted but I want my stuff.

Let the countdown continue...less than 4 days! Tonight and for the next two days, I'll be consumed with my job, so I won't have time to stalk the website or worry about anything much except...my job. lol

Finally... I saw the collection today, and nothing had been sold out! I got:

Hibiscus l/s (It is a coral red, I expected it more in the orange side, but I like it!)
Krazy Kahuna l/g (such a nice dark bronze color)
Sun Blonde e/s (I love it)
Saffron e/s (I could live without it, bad pigmentation, it needs build up, surprisingly I got the last one!

)
Surf USA e/s (great igmentation, great color!)

I skipped My Paradise, it didn't seem special to me, I have plenty of coral-orange blushes.

After I decided that my paradise was the only thing I wanted from this collection, I had a panic attack thinking about how I was actually going to get it. I have school or work everyday and my mornings are never free. I was invited to the launch party in brooklyn tuesday night, but I couldn't make it because I had school. Somehow I ended up on the pro site and the whole collection was there! Since when did they start giving the pro discount on special packaging? I remember paying full price for my sci fi stuff.

When I wore toxic tale, I completely forgot how bright it is. It's my favourite coral and it's funny how everyone seemed to have been staring, even grannies on the street.

I ended up getting Hibiscus, My Paradise, and Billionaire Bronze. My list was much longer but unfortunately funds are kinda low right now. Had to skip the crushed pigments but I think I can dupe the colours with stuff I already have (or permanent items I can scoop up later).

Still debating Saffron, Sun Blonde, Lush-Light Bronze and Gilded White. I might be able to go tomorrow evening and am planning a back-up route for Thursday morning before work... Ugh, the addiction LOL.

I just left the MAC store (not pro) and the MA was suprised when I told her surf the ocean stack was sold out on the pro website

( I guess with all these collections coming out even they dont know what is going on !!! It wasnt the regular MA I deal with so I couldnt see the collection. I did sign up to get my makeup done on Sat but I told her I would def be there Thursday morning(imma grab the things I think will sell out first) & then on Sat I will go back & pick up a few things that im unsure about !!!

I just left Sephora and bought the new blue trio, do I still need Surf USA ??!?!?!?! Decisions decisions

Rage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just left pro and surf the ocean was sold out. They only had one. Even worse? I old them I wanted hibiscus but I somehow left without it! I wasn't charged, I never got it. I missed it he missed it. Are you serious? What is my life right now? I got a ton of crap and I looked at it but I still missed it. I think I was too distracted by every line on the receipt that said bronzer. Ugh! So I still have to wait for hibiscus cuz I am not coming back to ny. Anyway, a review when I get home. And I had to run for the train and I am dripping in sweat. Oh, hell :nono:
