Alright here's my thoughts on the colors. First, what I bought: Mocha lipstick, Krazy Kahuna lipglass, Sun Blonde shadow, Surf USA shadow, Gilded White eyeliner. Surf USA: OK, this needs to come first because I knew I wasn't going to buy this. I am not a teal freak or even a casual fan. I have a few just in case I may feel the itch to wear it. I skipped Odalisque from Peacocky and the teal pigment from Alice and Olivia. Let me tell you, though this shadow is no joke. Pigmentation is bananas. If I made a video review, you'd see me fall out of my chair for this color. Yeah, I think it's that serious. Once people swatch this, it'll last in store for about 3 seconds. Mocha: To keep it short and sweet: I knew I'd buy it eventually, so I wanted it in special packaging. I think it applies better than it swatches. It swatches really brown, but I see the peach when I put it on my lips and it is AMAZING underneath Krazy Kahuna. Krazy Kahuna: Gorgeous, flat, no shimmer, opaque, very flattering reddish brown. Amazing on it's own or over Mocha. Everyday color without boring me to tears. I adore it. If it's still around when I get more dinero, I might get another. It's a variation of the lip every MUA tries to push on brown girls. Much more exciting, though as there's no obnoxious shimmer, but a red undertone. Sun Blonde: No less than what I expected. A gorgeous mustard type yellow. I don't get the "ugly" thing people were talking about. It's just gorgeous. No way around it. It says it's a frost, but on my hand and rubbing my finger on it, it feels like a Satin. Low level, if any shimmer from what I see on my skin. Gilded White: I had to try this because I am always looking for something to open my small eyes(I say they're small, no one else ever does). It's really pretty, creamy, buildable. I am wearing it now so in a couple of hours I'll tell you how long it lasts on my waterline. It's not the WOW that I expected, but it's definitely noticeable and it definitely helps with what I wanted it for. Having said that, though, I don't know if I will keed it. Of all the things I bought, this is the least impressive. I will try it tomorrow with Sun Blonde to get the full effect before I make the final verdict. The one that got away: Hibiscus: Love at first swatch. Beyond gorgeous. Orgasmic in every way. Creamy, so little is needed because it is OPAQUE, honey. No shimmer, bolder than Cyndi, more subdued than Toxic Tale. You guys already know the deal. If you love coral, you better get it! Is Mac serious right now: Bust Out: Seriously. What the hell is this? Is this some kind of a joke? Mac has done this color 8 ways to Sunday. Don't believe it's more purple, blah blah. It is the SAME damn color as anything you can imagine. What a waste of money it would be if you have all the other Mac colors in this family unless you are that much of a purple freak. I swatched and put it back down in disgust. They could've done something else. Naturally Eccentic and the corresponding gloss: Can't remember the gloss name, too lazy to look it up. Not for me at all. Very pale very white. Some of you may find use for it, but most of us will find it impossible. Especially the lipstick. Girl on Board lipglass: That's the peachy one, right? Not bad, not remarkable. Easy skip. True to swatches you've already seen. The color has been done before, blah blah. Sorry, in all my frenzy I did not swatch Short Shorts. I have my heart set on Nylon. Also, that teal liner is so similar to the one from To the Beach. I skipped that one, too so yeah... Didn't play with the bronzing sticks. They look like poo sticks. The careblends are nice and soft, but I have no use for them. My Paradise: I said it before and I'll say it again: It's still a bastard cousin of Bite of an Apple and Marine Life. I think the flower design is cheesy and overbearing. I can't really get around it to get to the coral color without some trouble. The coral is nice, but I don't like the 2 mixed together. If you don't like Marine Life, go for it. If Bite of an Apple is too red and you want more coral, go for it. If you like the design, go for it. Just know that it's not unique and I personally think Fleur Power is way better. It is pigmented, I'll give it that and the gold overspray will last through several uses because it's really raised from the surface of the blush. Ok, swatches in a few.
