BTW I was wearing Solar Riche, and the lippie is..... Up the Amp cos it looks identical to busto out :p wanted to cheat on a full one Surf Baby look lol

Biggest Mac haul ever - at least for me, especially as it was a multi-country, multiple-order purchase:

- 3 x Gilded White
- 1 x Blue Noon
- 2 x Gold-Go-Lightly
- 2 x Lush-Light-Bronze
- 1 x My Paradise
- 1 x Short Shorts
- 1 x Surf USA
- 1 x Swell Baby

I was in Germany and was anxious that I would miss the launch of Surf Baby in the US. To my surprise, Surf Baby was already released in Germany!

Initially, I was only interested in the bronzer, but I started off with buying 1 x Gilded White, then went back to the store the next day to pick up another Gilded White and 2 of the careblend bronzers. In the meantime, I fell in love with My Paradise but it was sold out. Urghh!

Then, last Monday I was up very early (6 hours ahead of the US East Coast) and I was lucky to be online when Mac released Surf Baby online. I ordered 2 more bronzers, 1 Blue Noon, 1 Gilded White (love love love on the lower lashline - not so much on the 20-min waterline), and My Paradise. When Mac released the 2-day shipping code on Wednesday, I could not resist to order 1 x Swell Baby, and when Surf USA finally became available on Thursday again, I ordered it x 1. Not sure if I ever use Surf USA, but I got sucked up by the hype.

Now I just need to fly back to the East Coast and open three shippings from Mac.

BTW, Specktra is awesome. I've been lurking for a while, and now I am officially registered.

Tried on Hibiscus as you all were raving about it, but it looks very orange on me. Not attractive.

I am still contemplating getting the bronzer stick. Or shall I say sticks. Not sure if I prefer Tan Tint over Billionaire Bronze for my NW20 skin.

Welcome to the Specktra, MAC-Guy. :welcome2: Sounds like you had a nice time shopping with Surf Baby. Worst case is you could always use Surf USA as a liner. Happy belated Birthday Piarpreet & cutegingerbread :birthday:

Here are more swatches. I'm sorry for being so late with these!

L-R: Bough Grey, Swell Baby, Gazette Grey



The differences between BG ans SB are more obvious in person, but like I said before, if one is not a huge fan of greys, I think one or the other could be enough. BG has more blue, while GG is a brown grey next to these. SB seems to be most neutral grey on me.

L-R: Waternymph, Surf USA, Sugarpill Midori



Waternymph has stronger sheen to it, and it is bluer, but not much. Midori is more green, and it has no teal/turquoise to it like Surf USA has. These are also more apparent in person, but I guess you can get the idea from these swatches hopefully. :)

BTW I'm gonna do a super huge "going-pro" haul... any suggestions within collection and out of it? I only got saffron, solar riche (style warriors), and hibiscus on backorder (lol...like i will get it)

Funnily enough, you can still see the two blush sticks on the left hand bottom corner of the old promo pics. I bet they would have sold out fast.

I would've have been all over it. I love creme blush and I was excited for this and I wondered why they didn't come out either but thought maybe it was an error on their part in the picture but I guess not.
