Awww, your HP was not old at all. So sorry. Hope you didn't lose many important files with it.I was sooo torn about Blue Noon - what do you think of it? One more GW -
I use 27 inch iMac. I love it so much.
Great advice from your son and hubby! I asked my Mac tech about MacBook Pro and iMac, and he told me the same thing. Enjoy, elegant!
I'll let you know what I think of Hibiscus.
Which brush does anyone use to apply My Paradise? Is it more pigmented than Marine Life?

I was just looking through all the swatches for Surf Baby again... makes me wish I had bought more!! I wanted the nail polishes but I just felt like I could get something similar at the drugstore for way cheaper... What I really should have bought (but talked myself out of because I was trying to be good and not spend too much!) are those gorgeous crushed metallic pigments.... Maybe I'll have to go buy a few more things.....

I actually tried to with my phone camera and just couldnt get it to look right. 
When I do it again I'll try and post a pic again. I need to buy a real camera.

The UPS man left a note on the door. I just got home after he left, apparently. I could spot him down the street. I called the 1800 number, but they said he can't come back. It was too far for me to run. He would've left me in the dust. I am so tired of UPS. Why was he here after 2? I always get my stuff between noon and 1:30, when someone else is home.I really wish Mac would start using FedEx because each driver knows me(because most of the other sites I order from use FedEx). Apparently, there was a new driver today. So pissed. I am concerned about my metals melting. It was sooo hot today! I should've just swallowed my rage at the Macy's mix up and just exchanged. See, rage gets you nowhere.

Well, looks like I have 4 my paradise' and 4 hibiscus' coming my way. Sigh.
When my order got backordered on MAC.com, I figured I was never getting it at all. So I ordered from Nordstrom, even though it said It wasn't shipping till the 31st. Yesterday I received tracking from MAC. Today I received my 2 Hibiscus' from nordies. So, Now I'm going to have to return to nordies when I get the rest. I hate to do it though :/
I also got an email from Macys about my wrong order. They said they would be mailing out surf the ocean to me and a label to return the other. So that's good, I guess. lol. I seriously need to re-do my vanity! It's looking real crazy right now

I tried the 192 today just for the gold overspray. It is the perfect size to go into the gold and it is also firm enough to pick up enough product. The gold by itself is a nice highlight. For the coral color, I will still stick to the 188. I might switch to the 187 once the gold is gone, but hopefully it will last me a while. I never thought I would like the gold, but now I am a big fan of it. It complements the coral in an awesome way.

I apply my paradise with my 168 brush - I actually purchased the brush after the mac MA used it to apply MP when I asked to try it at the counter. I went home and tried to recreate the look using my 187 and 129 but I had no luck getting it as nicely applied as she did, so I bought the 168 and it is FANTASTIC Love it!
I find MP the perfect combination of pigmentation, its pigmented enough that you don't need to cake it on to apply it heavily, but blendable enough that a small amount looks very natural. I apply it relatively heavily (but not ridiculously so) to my cheek bones.
I purchased MP on the day it was released in the UK and I haven't worn another blusher since - I'm just too addicted to MP

Once you go mac, you never go back! That applies to both the computers and the makeup. Your iMac won't die on you after 3 years

& my HP is only 3 yrs old! I'm not much of a geek, so hubs had to set up all my info on the iMac - doh! Its beautiful! But, its going to take me awhile to figure it all out. What Mac do you have? I wanted the Macpro - but my son & hubs told me the 21 inch was the better buy with more horse power.Does it get easier to figure out everything?

So agree. I have had a MacBook for 4 years now, still going strong and my old operating system is a Tiger when I think they are now on Snow Leopard. Just plug in and go. The spreadsheet was the hardest to figure out cuz I was so used to Excel.
. My hibiscus lands today, can't wait til I get home.
