I'm o.k. if certain products from an LE collection sell out after a couple of weeks. After all, that is what LE is all about. If stuff hangs around too much, nobody will feel the urge to buy it and eventually lose interest. I assume that some items are easier to produce again, so eventually they show up. I was surprised to see STO coming back again. Where did MAC dig out the melted gold, muaahhh.
As for paying 50 bucks for an item on ebay (I assume to a product that was not more than $22 at regular retail price), I just stay away from it. I bid on ebay up to a certain point, but then I just led it go. After all, it's just make up.

I still wish MAC would make available larger quantities of the "hot" products. But who knows, maybe they do and somebody (e)buys them all in one go.

i feel the same way. i hate paying over retail but i do sometimes end up paying more. but i always set my limits.

i agree. i dont mind if they sell out after a few weeks, bt unfortunately for mac, after a day, most items sell out. they then may or may not be brought back in the nxt week. i dont undstd why they do tt. most of the time, i just cant be bothered with their antics..

I tried wearing the golden pigment from STO again today, this time with just TFSI and my CoverGirl translucent powder underneath, and it worked so much better! Just a tiny bit of creasing, but I can deal.

I actually love the consistency of the gold pigment because it's so wet-like powder. I wonder if the melting and seperating of some is due to the temperature issues during shipping or if the concentrations were badly formulated in some batches by mac.

I opened my gold pigment last night and now it's much more solid. I just had to laugh. It's pretty and works fine, but instead of some oozy liquid like I had when I got it, it's like a cream. I think, in my case it's due to the heat. The week that I ordered it, it was in the high 90's here.

I prefer them loose! I really don't know why.. maybe I'm lazy to press them XD but I feel I can use easily them and in different ways if they are loose!

I prefer pigments loose as well. I don't have a real reason, though.

Haha I squished mine today! lol never made as much mess as I thought I would have as well!

LOL, you must've missed my big post telling everyone how I spent 10 minutes pressing down all of my pigments. Colorful swatches all over my arm. XD It felt very satisfying.

yup! i have two big nuggets in mine too! so far i have been scraping product from the side of the jar so that i don't disturb them! hee hee!
