I really like Altered Beige, too, but i was worried it would be another nude lip failure. I was finally updating my inventory, and putting new things where they belong in my storage scheme, and i noticed i had a couple other lipsticks that in the tube looked very much like Altered Beige, but which i never wear. Turns out the difference is the finish - i don't have a problem with MAC Lustres, fortunately. The other lipsticks i had were a cream (too opaque) and a slightly frosty slightly matte (both too opaque and too frosty). But AB works really well because it has a hint of sheerness, so one's natural lip color peeks through, which keeps it from looking F L A T.

Caliente with heroine liner. The lighting isn't the best, but its a nice combo IRL. I suggest trying it if you have both

today that I want to share...So I went to check out the bronzers at the pro counter and asked to see how refined golden would look on my skin...would you believe he proceeded to put the brush (which he borrowed from another SA ) into the bronzer ( not once cleaning/sanitize the bronzer) and the Bahamian in me just came out!! i was like "Sweet boy you didn't clean that and i don't know who face dat goin on." He reply "was someone putting their fingers in it?" Y'ALLLLLL i nearly walked out!!! Only cause my girl Erica walk in and say hi to me i didn't leave right then. Please watch these ppl when y'all wanna get stuff applied and make sure they sanitize!!

I should have never counted them.

I went to the store today and swatched the BMS quad. So disappointed. I wanted to believe that it had just been swatched too many times but I doubt it. The green, which was my main reason for wanting it, didn't show up at all. Did anyone else have a problem with it? I may just save up for Night Porter from Nars instead.

The green showed up the best from my palette :dunno: Too many store testers are swatched with fingers, which jacks up the tester. I'm hoping that was the case, cuz not a single colour from the quad swatched bad for me.
