I agree. The delay doesn't make me lose interest (and the upcoming collections don't do anything for me) but I would appreciate if MAC could at least let the people who work for them and try to sell their product know more information. I work for the auto industry and I know a car will be delayed if it appears there's any kind of problem even when press releases, etc have been sent. For instance a car was delayed because the seats were a little off. Not a safety issue and most people probably wouldn't notice but to protect the brand it was halted. It's better to be late than to have the internet blow up with how awful a product is. MAC has already had that happen this year so I'm sure they're treading lightly.
I wonder if there could have been a strange issue with the new applicator. MAC doesn't seem to have a problem getting out new formulas this year but maybe this applicator may have had issues. If they were being produced in Japan the natural disaster earlier this year could have thrown production to hell and they may not have realized they couldn't get everything out (especially since some stores do have some of the glosses). Sometimes on paper it looks like it will be fine but when it gets time to produce all kinds of problems can arise.
I know whenever they do come out, I'm still going to want some!
hee hee! guinea pigs are my second favourite animalI think it's just fair if Europe would get certain products first, even though that puts me in geographically in a bad position.

Dropped in at one of my usual MAC counters and asked the SA about it. He said that there was some issue with the distributor and probably wouldn't be out until mid to late August. :Like me he's also very much looking forward to the lipliners as they do fill a needed gap.
I could care less about the glosses. I need my lip liners, damnit!!!

Can they just give us the damn liners, then? I need another gloss like I need a hole in the head so they can keep that.

Maybe MAC wants us to wait for the Prolong liners? At least, those will be perm.

hmm.. i may not mind this collection being released in late Aug. I can haul a gloss or two with my Mac Me Over lot =)
