My guess it's also a fashion trend issue - the opaque, glossy lip look was totally avoided on all the international runways for Spring 2012. Perhaps they would have pushed them out if they'd gotten them featured in a major designer's beauty look, but then combined with all the other factors, it was cheaper to just skip the whole thing. Sometimes it's worth the R&D costs to see if there's a bite on the fashion editorial end and just keep things TBD until otherwise. They should think about these things before releasing any promo pics info etc etc. I think MAC should have less collections and better thought out. I am a MAC whore but I want my moneys worth lol

i was told at training this is not gonna happen. the colors will be released in a lip glass formula. not in glamglass
At least it's one less collection to worry about now.
Dammit carl! I really wanted these glosses - I love the Kissables, and was told that these were similar but better! Grrrrrr..... I may still pick up some if the colours are worth it, but this is a big bust in my books. So sad!![]()
I'd be nifty if they brought them back in some shades without the glitter and frost (and some shades with!) Or even better, more colors with that almost duochrome effect that Gimme That! and Ban This!. If there's one lip formula I'd like to see MAC do a deep forest green or a new black, it'd be this one!Personally, I'd just be happy if they released more of the Dare to Wear style glosses again. I was wearing mine again recently and it reminded me of how much I loved them.
I only bought Ban This, Bold & Brash and Gimme That, but I backed up Bold & Brash and Gimme That, so I'm sitting pretty - those 2 were not only my favorites from that collection, but pretty much my ne plus ultra for metallic red and metallic, duochrome hot pink/purple lips.Ooh! Those are wonderful ideas, Liba. Ban This was the last one I had on and I was thinking, wistfully about what a great formula it was. I got four of them and, in retrospect, I wish I'd just bit the bullet and grabbed the other two.
tell me about it! i love those babies and i need more!!Personally, I'd just be happy if they released more of the Dare to Wear style glosses again. I was wearing mine again recently and it reminded me of how much I loved them.
