Future Skin:

Future Skin Foundation♥-♥ Neiman Marcus

It's hideously expensive but I'm finding a jar lasts me forever, esp because I can get away with using it only where needed since it's so blendable. The other negative is that is very inaccessible. I can only buy online at Neimans or Saks. Ugh.

The final verdict for me: I like this stuff, but not enough to give up my MUFE HD

Ya, it definitely is pricey. I can't even imagine what the Cdn price would be?! This is the sort of thing that I could justify splurging on if I didn't have an insane MAC addiction, especially if it were to work well. I'll consider it down the road if I ever do curb my enthusiasm for all things MAC!

when I purchased the concealer, the MUA told me when i 1st use it, i have to swirl/mix it first with something before I use it, is this true? I've looked around and I haven't seen anyone done it, so I thought maybe that was the MUA's suggestion so it'd be more "creamy" but i'm not sure. Was anyone told this as well or have done this?

You and I are on the exact same page
I like it, but it feels like a knockoff of my MUFE HD.

agreed! a few pages back i initially compared it to MUFE HD, but after a few days of wear i'm thinking MUFE HD still wins. however i think Studio Sculpt would be a great alternative for those who are looking for something cheaper or who don't have access to MUFE. SSF does win in the packaging department though. it is an excellent foundation (i'm keeping mine anyway!), but MUFE is just

Well, I'm only 23 and still when I put my concealer on these weird lined appear under my eyes and the same with around my mouth and they definately are not there when I don't have my foundation on. It's true that foundation and concealer can easily make you look older because the movements of your face canpush the foundation to those tiny microlines. Because the foundation sucks it doesn't mean that you are getting old

I got a sample of this foundation on Saturday and were it yesterday. I cannot tell if I like it or not. I did looked even more oily with it on. I will have to try it one more time to make my decision I guess. It feels very nice though.

Why does MUFE HD look so muddy and cakey on me?
ssad.gif
It oxides on my face too which is weird. MAC doesn't even do that to me.

for those of you with acne scarring, how does the concealer cover? also, does it cake on/around drying or healing acne?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is just so-so on this foundation. I just feel super oily all freaking day! And it looks ok, perhaps better than other liquid foundations, but I think my skin looks much better in my Bare Minerals...I just want to love this foundation, but it's not as easy as I hoped.

Edit: I also like the concealer, love the consistency. Just need a different color, nw15 is too light!!

Are you sure you're using the right shade? Maybe try a different one and apply less?

I returned my NC15 and got a sample of NW15..but it seems really orange on me
ssad.gif
, could the lighting, so I will try it out tomorrow for a full day in day light and see. I tried every color within my skintone..from very light to medium and either the color was way too yellow or too pink..so I guess maybe this foundation does not have a match for me. I did try mixing in my wrist the NC15 (which looks pinky to me) and the NC20 which is really yellow hoping for some good mix..but no..orange it was on my neck..lol. I only use the face and body C1 in Mac.My MufeHD foundation matches me really good but I find it too drying, so that is why I just loved this one. Its so hard to find a good foundation for fair Light Olive skintones..either they are too yellow or too ashy.

I have acne scars, hormonal acne break outs and age spots..and I am only my 40's, so I can't even image what my face will look like in my 60's

. As far as the concealer getting cakey on acne scars, yes a little and does it cover yes, but since mine is on the light side I went over mine with light foundation and it was covered nicely. I got the NW15 and its lighter but the NW20 was too pink.

Ugh, day 2 wearing it. It lasted forever and ever, but 2 new zits popped up. I think I'm in denial, because I keep telling myself that those pimples were going to pop up any way (due to the way that I've been treating my face...) So I'm gonna wear it again tonight...and if I break out again, it's definitely going back.

Here are my first impressions of the foundation and concealer. Normally, I use BE mineral foundation but wanted to try something new b/c I have a hard time getting even coverage with the BE and it never looks 'done'. Today I tried the NC15 foundation and the NW 20 concealer. The NC15 may be a tiny bit too pink so tomorrow I'll try the NW 15.

- The foundation doesn't feel heavy at all.
- I found this easy to blend with the 190 brush, it was a little streaky with the 187.
- No breakouts so far but it's only been one day.
- At lunch time I had to blot and apply blot powder. I would do this anyway with the BE so this was normal. By the end of the day, there were more 'shiny' spots on skin than usual but it didn't feel greasy. Still, I don't want to have to blot every few hours.
- Thought the coverage was nice, it looked natural.
- I used the concealer under my eyes and thought it worked well. Yes, it does crease in fine lines but I've found most concealers do.

Overall, this isn't the holy grail/miracle foundation many others have described. My pores still looked the same, I could still see some redness, acne spots. I think I'll have to live w/this for a few more days before deciding on it.

I bought the concealer in NW15 and it's too white for me, I'm NC15 (Studio Fix Fluid) in winter. The texture is nice, coverage is great (but too light, I'm sure it would be much better if I try a darker shade). I like to use my Soft Ochre paint pot under my concealer, didn't try it this morning but tomorrow I will apply it under my Studio Sculpt concealer just to see if the shade will be better.

I'd like to try the foundation but I really don't know if I should buy NC15 or NW15, usually I would always choose NC (My skin have olive undertones) but the shades seems to be differents? Which is less pink?

I think I'm going to take back the Studio Sculpt NW20 concealer and exchange it for a NW20 Studio Finish Concealer, my old stand by and HG of concealers.

It's not that I don't like the consistency of the Studio Sculpt, I just can't find a proper colour match.

101% positive I have the right shade. I am NC35 and in MUFE I am 127. It just looked really weird. Maybe its the fact that I don't need such a thick foundation because my skin is pretty clear and I use concealer and mineral powder or studio stick foundation as a concealer. However, I didn't apply it on myself. The sales rep at Sephora did and I told her to apply it lightly. The shade matched my skin tone but it just looked like I had on a mask. Then after being outside, I came home and it looked grayish and oily.
