I've been wanting to try that for a while. Some light baby pinks work on me oddly enough but I haven't tried it on my lips yet. I may get the gloss as a compromise though.

I think I'm going to try to put myself on a lipstick low/no-buy until this collection comes out. Then I won't feel bad about buying all the GV pretties. Lord... give me strength.

It's the reason why I stay away from pink! I have a few brighter ones, which lean more to fuchsia but I never buy baby pinks. I really wanted YSL Lingerie Pink but I haven't bought it because of SG.I can't do Saint Germain at all. So so wrong. BUT, I ROCK Double Spin, which is way lighter. It's just a softer color, and without the heavy white pastel issues. I can also wear some LE colors that are similar to St. Germain, like A Novel Romance, which looks great. So many factors influence these colors, but Saint Germain give all of them a bad rap, hehe.
But then Trend-rude will have access too.
I decided to try it again earlier today and I didn't like it. Then I lined my lips with Chic Trick and filled in the outer 1/4s. I put the Miley lipglass on top and I got a nice barbie pink. So I finally found a way to wear it

I'd say try Be Fabulous Mineralize Rich Lipstick - it's that perfect soft, pale pink, but not harsh at all, and the texture fuses perfectly with the lips, so it's extra soft and nice. It still has a little brightness in there, but it's very manageable.
