MAC x Marcel Wanders 2 (Spring 2012) Discussion

Excited for this! I wanted to the 187 from the last one, but heard it sucked. I look forward to what is coming with this, and hopefully nice brushes is part of the collection.

What makes you think that the original MW 187 brush sucked? I didn't notice any difference in the bristles, but the lighter handle gives me a different feel and thus allows a different way of applying products. Can you elaborate what you mean? Or did you mean the price - which sucks indeed. I think the original MW 187 was 75 bucks and the new one will cost 80 dollars.

Everything I read said that the brush head was less dense and flimsier.

The MW brush head is slightly smaller than the fullsize version of the 187, so maybe that's what people associated a less dense and flimsy? As it is so much lighter as well as longer, it feels very different in my hand, which I absolutely love for a very subtle application of beauty powders. Anyway, I look forward to yet another addition to my collection. As I stated above, the only downside is the price, but I would love to see Spring couture collections on a regular basis. MAC seems to venture into the luxury market and I'm curious at what price point we will end up. I hope we don't see triple digits too soon.

I want the brush clutch!!!! This collections seems cute, but I'll probably only get one or two things if the price is hefty. I love MAC and all, and I love special packaging and I'm willing to pay extra for it, but at some point I'd have to stop and justify my spending. Then again, with swatches I'll probably be screaming about how I want all of it.

I love the names & colour descriptions of Felicienne and Inez l/s and the Mystery Powder. I'm not sure I will be able to get them though. All depends on how deep the price is. Damn you MAC!

The packaging is beautiful. I want Felicienne, Karin and Kim and I'm getting the brush. Initially I wasn't going to...that is, until I saw it. My Pro store only ordered three and someone else already put their name on two of them.

I will mingle with Annelie, Annemiek, Jana, and Julia. I might be tempted by Karin and Kim. I absolutely love the MW l/g formula! And of course, I must have the Sheer Mystery Powder and the brush. I'm all up for a very limited LE brush. Woohoo!
