Ok, my counter said the date got moved back to 4/24. Anybody else heard that

It freaked me out to go to T'S blog the other day & see how she's showcasing MAC ESs by colors...I'm like all the sudden you are giving MAC some love...to get back on their good graces, perhaps? Is this because MAC no longer sends you stuff to preview & you actually have to buy some stuff from them lately? Was that mean? I just feel like it's very clear she no longer likes the majority of MAC's stuff & that's fine but I feel like she doesn't give it a fair shot. If you are reviewing an item you need to take it for what it is & give your opinion solely based on the product itself. You can't start a review thinking about how it compares to Tom Ford, Guerlain or Givenchy 's LSs... Now there are certain bloggers who did a lot of videos (I wouldn't know currently b/c I haven't watched tutorials or haul videos in the longest) but one person said a product name every 2 min. when doing a tutorial. After my second or third tutorial I was like hell to the no & I haven't gone back since. I also don't like their attitude. It just exudes I'm so perfect & you clearly are not because you don't have ____ & ____ and they're too prissy, primmadonna ish for me. Just my opinion. I just don't like when I'm watching something to see how they do a look & the brand is thrown in my face from start to finish. Okay. Sorry for the vent...

I noticed that too. I think that she doesn't get samples anymore but knows she needs to review them. I was reading one of the "which products do you like" thread on her site the other day and everyone's go-to was MAC something. It just makes me tilt my head (like a dog at an answering machine) that everyone talks smack and then says a MAC item is their holy grail. You don't have to like it, but just be real. And yeah, MAC isn't going to stack up the same way a $50 lipstick does (or $30 for that matter) but judge it on it's own merits.

We were going to schedule a lesson around the date so I could get the lesson discount on the Playland, PS, Tres Chic, Malificent collections and she has been waiting to schedule because of that. I feel fairly certain that it will be 4.23. (Now I'll be proven to be a liar )

I was at two different MAC stores today and all the associates said the collection was pushed back to April 24th in-store.

So, Autumn Moon is correct.

Hun, ain't no one gonna blame you because of a date mix up. We all know how screwy MAC is & you aren't accountable for that. I thank you & the others for sharing the info b/c I know the vast majority of us are really looking forward to this collection & we want to get our hands on our blushes, lippies, etc!

Well nothing has been confirmed but I thought it was going to be online on Mar 27 and that has come and gone, so...

. Mac has left us wondering I guess. ..not the first time but still - annoying!

Yeah, I was looking forward to a new blush too It feel's like I haven't bought anything in ages lol.

Well I just called my local MAC store and they said the counter date would be April 24th. She said it got moved back. On twitter MAC has just been saying soon to the people who ask so I guess that makes sense. If it was coming next week I would hope they would say something.
I was suppose to launch April 3rd that said if it launches later I do not mind as the online lunch would be on April 22nd. They probably push it back because some of the items where delayed in shipping out. After all each product is made in a different country. lol

Two they might being pushing back to give Maleficent more show time.


The fact they have to released a proper colour story yet is confusing.

Not to get off the makeup topic, but my job is really starting to get on my nerves. I work at a University. I have over 1100+ students to check for graduation. If that isn't bad enough, now the bosses have decided to give us another project. It's during our busiest time of the year. For some reason this "other" project is more important than my dept. working to assist with graduating our students. It's beyond ridiculous. I wouldn't mind doing this other project if I was getting some overtime money, but nada. They just assume our work can be pushed to the side and we can work on their project. Guess who will get into a lot of trouble if our own work is not done on-time or correct? Sometimes, I just want to disappear from everything or crawl into a ball and hide somewhere. Plus, with this never ending winter (and I like winter), it's just too depressing. Thank you for asking and listening Mosha!

It honestly seems like school systems and universities really don't care about much anymore. It's about getting what they want for the least amount of money. I'm sorry you're having a rough time. *hugs*
