i don't have much from nars but everything i have i have loved and like to use. so i hope these two items are the same! i got a dispatched email a few hours ago so that was pretty quick of nars uk! i wonder if it will turn up on saturday?

Yay my makeover with Nars is today and I get to pick my goodies in person! I am so excited! I always like my makeovers at Nars, they really do a great job and listen to what I want. I know I will be splurging as I haven't cared for any MAC collections in a looong time and can't even be bothered to look at what's coming in the next few months.

Thank you all for your swatches and reviews so far :)

You know, I only own two things from NARS: Super Orgasm Blush and Super Orgasm Nail Polish (I got them as a set at Sephora on a whim).... but the Cap Ferrat Eyeshadow Trio is really calling to me for some reason..... I don't know if I should go for it or not!

Get it! I couldn't resist. I'm just waiting for it to arrive. Since the upcoming mac collections don't interest me much, I justified spending the money.

I like a lot of the upcoming MAC collections, and I just spent a whole lot on Fashion Flower this week..... I'm debating on whether I should get this and Angelika lipgloss or some more things from MAC with my makeup birthday money I'm getting on Monday. I can't make up my mind! I keep going back and forth!! Maybe I should go hunt for some swatches to swing me either way.... >_>

It's a bittersweet day in my makeup world.

All my fav NARS counter MUAs are officially gone after many great years of being one of their regular customers. Today at a Bay beauty event I tried out some colours by the new young sales ladies and well, after two colour tries I bought Exotic Dance BUT when I got home I saw my eyes in the mirror and was ready to turn around and return it. A deep breath later I smeared out the colour (which looked like Dorothy's Tin Man paint in paint by numbers form from her application) and it is truly beautiful. So the sweet in the bitter is that I feel I have now graduated and can call myself skilled after 3 dedicated months of practice, reading and learning. The other sweet part is I do have a back-up fav NARS counter elsewhere for future purchases - because even though it's about the product it is also very much about the service.

Actually, I love glitter bombs (hence the name of my blog).... I've never put something on and said to myself, "wow, this is too much glitter".... so I think this may actually be my cup of tea...


I've been wanting Angelika too though.... maybe I'll get both!

I just received my package from NARS and I have to say I'm glad I ordered from them instead of Sephora. The South Beach multiple is stunning. Will be rocking this hard if it ever warms up here and I can show more skin that just my face (it's snowing as I type). I'm not sure what I'll do with the bronzer as it's the same shade as me but who cares - it was free!

The trio is a must. Shontay run don't walk to get it! In my excitement I forgot to take pictures, but if any WOC want to see it on darker skin I'm happy to snap a few shots. Every color is goregous and the texture is smooth. Even a novice like me will have no problem coming up with looks with it.

On to Wonder gloss. This is GORGEOUS! It's kind of hard to describe the color but it certainly isn't the orange you see in the tube on your lips. It's like a red/orange/brown/gold color. Helpful, I know. It will look good with multiple blushes which is what I'm always looking for.

NARS knocked it out of the park with this one.

I got my NARS package today with the paradise trio blush (orgasm), laguna bronzer, and highlighter (albatross). And the packaging is very very very cheap the zipper is horrible!!!!!!!! :( im very upset. Its hard to close, hard to open, and it looks like it would break easily.

Do you guys know if they would allow me to return it???? cos they say they dont accept returns of palettes or limited edition stuff
