Don't mean to double post, but since I stalk the Sephora site, I can let you ladies know that they now have the Summer collection! I love how it's after the F&F sale. I like ordering from Nars, but Sephora is my favorite because if needed, the return process is so easy. I am going to get the shadow trio soon, I hopefully.

How convenient....I knew that would happen. I like shopping @ Sephora as well. Doesn't hurt to earn those beauty points either :)

For those of you interested in Bolero, Carthage, Wonder, and Mayflower, this website has good quality pictures and swatches of them all (plus two swatches of New Order):

Oops! I didn't even see that the same blogger also has pictures of Kismet and Ecume nail polishes, Dogon and Exotic Dance duo e/s, Queen soft touch sadow pencil, and New Order highlighting blush!

My order came yesterday and I had time to play with my goodies. Seriously, Dogon is a MUST-HAVE. The taupe side looks from the outside like it's going to swatch similarly to Mac's Club, but it doesn't. It is insanely, INSANELY gorgeous. Possibly the single most gorgeous eyeshadow I've ever owned or wanted to own. I don't know how to describe it, it turns into this duochrome-y, mysterious petrol-sheen type of thing when I swipe it over my (NC20) skin.

OK. I think you just sold me. lol. I'll skip the eyeshadows from Fashion Flower and order this instead tomorrow.

I had wanted Dogon for that taupe kinda color, but I cannot get down with the darker color. It's not unique at all. I really wish Nars had paired it with a more unique shade. I can't pay that type of money for one shadow.

@layla: Full disclosure - it's pretty transparent on its own, not that it isn't pigmented. I can tell when I apply it that it's buttery and well-pigmented, but the color of that pigment just happens to be a transparent taupe-ish color. I think it was meant to be a topcoat-type of color, to layer over other eyeshadows, but I'm down to wear this beauty on its own. My final description of it is: a transparent taupe topcoat with a duochrome finish reminiscent of petrol or... mermaid scales?

I don't know, something about its finish reminds me of a wet/dewy sheen.

@shontay: I agree, it could have been a knock-out if they had fiddled with the other color a little. It still makes a great base to layer the taupe on top of, though.

So I ordered Orgasm blush and Turkish delight from sephora when they had their sale. I just ordered cap ferrat and angelika blush since nars has that 17% off for orders over a certain amount. I justified the 12 bucks off to spend extra 11 lol. My way of thinking is so screwed lol. I am addicted to makeup. Help.

The darker colour is very unique. Have you not seen it in person? It casts in dark deep blue and then layered over the lighter taupe-like colour more blue and even deep green comes out.

[/quote] Nope, haven't seen it in person. I just don't care for what I've seen. I have enough dark shades, so it's a pass for me.

I have to agree with Shontay on this one, I own the duo so I've seen it and I still don't think the darker shade is crazy unique. It would be great if it packed more pigment though.

I think your description paired with what it looks like on Karlasugar.net are way too good incentives to buy. :p I don't know which item to chose now!
