What exactly is a beauty powder? How does it differ from other pressed powders?

So far I am really liking it all. I am curious about the fluidlines. It is hard to tell from the pics if they are LEs or rereleases.
All of the products featured in Allure look great. The I love that light 60s lip they talk about with the Screenqueen lipstick. The Goddess blush, the lipglasses....ahhhhhh.....overload!!!!

I have one, the "tahitian sand" of Deneuve collection. And i love it !
It's a finest powder than other, it's work like a blush, or a powder or a highlighter. Some are glowy, some are matte, but all are beautiful colors and really silk touch.
The "pêche" of Tahitian Sand, give me a healthy skin without redness ^^

A terrifying though just came to mind... what if... Michael Jackson were to be a MAC icon? He certainly achieved a lot and have made history, both good and bad, and he also wears a lot of makeup......
I would love to see Angelina Jolie be an icon someday. She's so incredibly beautiful and such a wonderful person as well.
This icon collection has some nice colours, but the tiger print seems kinda cheesy...but i guess i wouldn't know until it comes out

i saw this collection today and its gorgeous!!! everything is beautiful....and the blushes are amazing....a bright coral and a bright matte pink...also the lipsticks and glosses are soooooo pretty ahhh

I'm so excited about this collection! I think the blushers, lipsticks and beauty powders look awsome! I'll probably skip the quads, they looks kind of blah but maybe seeing them will change my mind
I would love them to do a Elizabeth Taylor Icon collection, she was so gorgeous and unique. I know she doesn't look that great now but if they pulled off a Liza Minelli icon they could do Elizabeth for sure!

no it was brighter than peaches and matte unlike foolish me....it was such a pretty flush.....and yes there is a peach colored lipstick.....it reminded me of nars belle du jour and theres also a peachy bright coral lipstick too....i saw them with the working names so sorry i dont have the real names =/

I'm excited about the beauty powder. I have Tahitian Sand from the last Icon collection and I love it so much! I also have Sunsparked Pearl and it's a tad TOO sparkly.. so I'm looking forward to getting another matte beauty powder.
