So that we don't have to do the math... maybe it's the same if they just let us win our own Mac Free standing store...

This is a cool contest, at least not as vague and impossible to win as the ones that the website has sometimes: 1 winner drawn by pure chance...

so pumped for this now! When I read the descriptions I was like "meh" but now I cannot wait. Its going to be hard not to want to buy a lot of the e/s!

I think I was able to follow the picture/colour descriptions except for:
Clue Mid-tone grey with silver pearlized pigments (frost)
To me that would be the bottom left hand pot. But it looks brown. The description is grey?? Has anyone seen this in person yet?

yeah...there are eight of the lipsticks and two of the glosses that i'm eyeing...and i'll probably end up with a couple of shadows, too. i like that the lipsticks and glosses are twists on the originals. i'm disappointed in the pigments, too...seems like a bit of a cop-out. i mean, why not bring back something that people really want (like coco) instead of stuff that's available all the time (excluding steel blue, of course).

Is moth brown really diff from pan to skin?? I've seen swatches and it looked brown to me. Does it look more gray in real life?? I wish I woulda been into MAC when BLM first came out, I think I would have liked Moth Brown....

Moth Brown is so hard to describe. In the pan it's brownishgrayishpurplish but on skin it's such a pretty brown. I really didn't think it would work for me and now I'm SO freaking glad I have two.

I have Clue e/s from it's old release in screw-top form.... The color is like a very light Satin Taupe! Decent payoff and a nice color, but nothing outstandingly unique.

Rozz Revival lipstick
Sandy B lipstick (I still don't have this yet lol)
Clue e/s
Parrot e/s

and check out the reflects glitter. I'm so glad these are coming out other than the pro store. I don't have a pro store near me!

After seeing the pictures though.. I think I want to give a few of the lipsticks a chance, especially Utter Pervette and Rozz Revival! And I'll check out Full on Lust Lipglass... And Parrot I will definitely be getting as well! =)

Looks like everyone is gonna get Parrot e/s. May I suggest that everyone go easy on this particular color? ie: just get 1 or 2 for yourselves, so everyone has a chance of owning this color? Coz not everyone can be there on the first day of the launch, and it's really unfair when someone before you bought like half a dozen of these.

LOL You can have mine. I have no interest whatsoever in Parrot. Honestly I think it may be more a case of those who want it wanting it very much and expressing their excitement, rather than everyone who likes MAC wanting it. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get one. If you're concerned about your counter selling out before you can get there just order it online.

Don't worry, sweetheart.. MAC has been making more of everything that sells out, at least since Barbie. My guess is that EL is more concerned with squeezing all the profit they can out of popular products rather than encouraging them to be coveted (with the exception of Real Doll, dunno what happened there!). So if Parrot sells out initially, assume there'll be more coming

l/g: full on lust, c-thru, avarice
pigments: violet, kitschmas, golden olive, reflects very pink

i know most of the stuff im after is permanent but my bf will think they are LE and will buy me them lol

I think hoarding is just a no-no in general. I am sure there are people out there, or rather, in this forum, that have 6, 7, and 10 backups of anyone one product. I mean no offense to anyone, but I simply don't understand it.

i totally agree! i understand if they buy 1 or 2 backups or whatever but there is really no need in a large amount as you only have one pair of eyes

I only have one backup for my HG Engaging MES. I love it, use it almost everyday. I personally don't do the whole 5, 6, 10 backups or whatever b/c I think there's always something new and better down the pipe, but for those that do it, I don't mind. You stock up on whatever you want, spend your money however! I think its a bit much to ask ppl to go "light" on buying something ie parrot (a colour I'll prob pass on anyways) so everyone gets a turn. It reminded me of the Amazing Race episode last week where a girl said that this other team had been first 2 or 3 times and other people should get a turn. Are you kidding me?

I have a feeling like a poster above said--they prob know how popular it is and the crazy prices ppl have been paying on eBay so I'm sure there will be enough to go around. Or buy at/below retail for those of us who get buyer's remorse after falling for the hype.

I think it's sweet of you to say that but BEYOND unrealistic. You, I and everyone else on this forum know how people are. There will be people who pick up backups for the Parrot they already have. There will be people who can't wait to get it because they either passed on it at first (me) or weren't into MAC when the collection came out. Then there are your greedy people who want to get as many as possible because they see the opportunity to re-sell them for profit. It's unfortunate but consideration is sadly lacking nowadays and although it's greedy and unfair there's not a whole lot you can say or do when someone decides to spend their money to do something like that.
