it does look pink I'm disappointed hopefully it's only the lighting, I have tons of light & baby pinks as it is

It is definitely NOT pink...no worries! I guess the store I go to must have gotten in a tester or something for the MAs to see because a couple of the girls were looking at it behind the counter when I was buying some things today. I only got a glimpse, but it is LAVENDER! As beautiful as it is in the tube, I think it'll be a pass for me because it's such a pale lavender that it'll make me look dead. I could probably pull off the gloss (same shade, right?), but an amplified lipstick in that color is just not going to work on me without some serious adjustments with liner and such. If pale lavender is your wish though, look like it will be granted in Feb!!

Same here. While I do like the color, I just don't like it on my lips. I usually have to mix it with a darker shade. If it had been a tad more blue/purple/grey and less white I think it would have been just perfect for me.

I'm all over this... or rather it will be all over me - my lips, that is.

And there is that matching gloss... i can usually find ways to make a light lipstick work, but if this is one of those "milky" glosses, i'm skipping the gloss.

It looked about the same as far as paleness goes...QC might be ever so slightly paler. The real difference to me, from what I could tell, was the color. QC was definitely pinker than the new VG.

That's excellent news! I'm defo getting VG Nicki 2. The only question is when. I bought Nicki 1 immediately after its release so I couldn't get the cute VG Nicki & Ricky bag they released for the holidays. I'm going to try and see if I can resist byying Nicki 2 until the end of the year when the holiday bags come out. Easier said than done
