Chanel Foundations & Concealers

^^ Thanks for your great review. If it launches at my country I'll get a sample to try. My skin is like yours, so I am more excited to try teint miracle. But I can't get any teint miracle samples so far.

I will buy the concealer when my cdp concealer finishes. It is now down to the last 0.5cm. I like that this chanel concealer has a dewy finish. I have the mufe lift concealer, which has a nice texture, but my dark circles need heavier coverage. Not sure if the mufe is buildable, I will experiment.

I'm at Singapore. When the foundation was newly launched they gave out very small satchets. I missed it and now they don't have stocks. It seems they will not have the samples again. It sort of sucks..

I bought the PF concealer today in BR10 even though I was matched for B20 in PF foundation. The SA suggested it because he said the pink would cancel out any darkness under the eye. I looked good and I know some make-up artists use salmon colored concealers so, it made sense to me to buy the pink one.

I think thats the one I have - all I know is that I got the lightest shade. So you liked it on...how was the wear?

I have the Teint Miracle which I bought when I did swatch the new Chanel foundation.. I liked it a lot for daytime -- it has a wonderful texture and great soft coverage and the wearability is excellent.

I have the Chanel concealer in BR10 also and find it works best on me if I use the Clarins skin perfector primer underneath it.. somehow it makes it glide on really well.
Mufe is good too.. and it is buildable, I just find that MUFE is better for me in the hot climates I inhabited a few months ago..

I really liked the color. I only had it on for a few hours today so, I will have to wear it all day and let you know what I think. I do appreciate the recommendation!!!

Which one are you testing? Online there is

Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer:

or

Lift Lumiere:

http://www.chanel.com/en_US/fragrance-beauty/Makeup-Concealer-LIFT-LUMIÈRE-88650

and a highlighter pen Eclat Lumiere:

I'm using the first one in #10 Beige Clair. Pretty sure that's the one elegant is using as well. I also have #31, the pinker one, which doesn't work as well on me, but my understanding is that it's the color of your circles (in addition to the lightness/darkness of your skin) that determines which shade you need.

I really should go look to see which one I am using. Just lazy

All I know is that it is #10 in the first one.

Ok, I just went to look at the bottom of it & it only says 10. Now how am I supposed to know?

It is the Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer. There are 2 #10's. One is Beige Rose #10 which is what I got and the other is Beige Clair #10. The Rose is more pink .

For the Chanel Asia website, there are only two shades for the Correcteur Prefection Long Lasting Concealer: 10 Beige Clair and 20 Beige Ivoire. I think should go with 10.. jmarie - BR 10 is not shown in the link that winthrop put up.. Could it be discontinued? I had the highlighter pen but it wasn't enough to concealer my dark circles, I need heavy duty ones! The one from CDP is really good although it is pricey. The tube lasts about 4 years of daily usage for me.

Monsy - Yup I'm going to bring an empty jar and let them pump some of the foundation in. If the counters are mean enough to reject me, I can try Sephora.

HG - Thanks for recommendating Teint Miracle. I'm determine to get some to try on my face. I swatched them some time ago. I tried Guerlain Parare Gold in 20 and it is slightly dark but long lasting. However, for daily wear I will not choose it. I'm considering Burberry Sheer foundation too but the colour match is a big challenge and really confusing. The pink ones seem to match me better. Good to know that the MUFE lift concealer is buildable. The MUFE HD foundations lasts well in hot weather too.

Yep, there are only 6 colors available here unless they are changing it and already sell something different at counters than they do online? The lightest pink one, which is the other one I bought online besides #10, is actually numbered #31.

-big range of colors
-Very buildable coverage it can go from light to medium, even fuller.
-i have tried it with smashbox primer, mac strobe, no primer, just moisturizer, just thermal water etc... and it look good always.
-Blends like a dream! So nice and creamy you need a little bit. I usually use 187 brush to apply.
-it has nice "shine" to it, so skin looks glowy, fresh, very healthy.
-i love it on aging skin, that's dry and dull with lines. it takes years off seriously, does magic.
-i have tried it on so many women, age 20-65 different skin types, different coverages and it always looks GREAT. i never had situation not even once when it did not look great.
-price is reasonable too! 37$ for such a great product, nice bottle with a pump, not bad at all
-lancome translucence setting powder also looks very good on top teint miracle
don't buy it from sephora they have awful choice of colors, i think 6 only.

^ Monsy.. I assume you are ref to Teint Miracle. I am really enjoying mine in the cooler weather.. it stays put and I usually work 14 hour days plus dinners, drinks.. etc. It does not transfer and I am always on phones.

I am in the old lady category and this does not settle into any lines nor does it clump up. I apply with fingers and then smooth out with a flat top brush.. (MAC new ones !!), then use a cream blush .. set with any of my powders, Chanel, LaMer, Guerlain, LM.. it always looks fresh and dewy.

I won't scream HG yet.. but it is damn close! .. and of course, the price is fabulous.

I am saving my Guerlain parure for night mostly.. or when I don't work but still need some good coverage.

agreed on all accounts! I love Lancome Teint Miracle. It's a toss up for me between that and Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua as my HG foundations.

Oh ya and Sephora does have smaller range of colour. They don't carry my shade (Buff 4C)

I look at my concealer box Beige Rose and it is #31. Sorry about the mistake saying it was #10. I swear the SA said it was #10, he must have had the 2 confused. I know it was the right one because he said pink.
