The display was missing half the product so you couldn't even see the color in person.

If you cannot even see the color in person why not just buy it online?

Not that you were replying to me? But the Dior rep stated they had not arrived even tho I could easily see the boxes of them on the shelf behind the counter. I am afraid of reps who don't know what they do and do not carry

Yep, the display only had a little of the product. Most stores got some product, but not the testers. I almost didn't buy the fuchsia lip & cheek, but the SA broke open one of the boxes of it anyhow so I could swatch it. I'm really glad she did.
SOOO many SA don't know about the products or collections

Received 001 Pleasure today. I despise it on the lips but adore it on cheeks! So easy to apply and blend. Hard to overdo. I still did, but it took effort! :p

I got mine also! I like it on the lips, but I think cheeks is where these really shine. What didn't you like about lip application?

It was patchy and sheer. Also just didn't like the color on my lips. Butt cheeks.....wait, but cheeks, yes!!! I might need to get the other colors for blush! :sunshine:

This definitely needs to be layered for lips, so kinda PITA. I LOVE Treasure (purple) on cheeks. Not a great pic, but I posted one upthread with it on lips and cheeks. Now I want the others, too...

I saw the collection and played with it yesterday (exept for the fluid lip/cheek products which were late). The quints are beautiful - especially Precious Embroidery. However, I bought Smoky Sequins because I wear a lot of grey eyeshadow. When I got home I tested it side by side with Gris-Gris, and the colors are almost identical. The black is matte whereas the black in Gris-Gris is glittery, and there is a gold/bronze instead of a medium grey, but apart from that the quints are exactly the same (oh, exept for the amount of product of course - Gris-Gris contains 6g and Smoky Sequins only the "new" 3,4g). In short, if you're looking for a shimmery grey wash of eyecolor, see if you can find Gris-Gris somewhere.

I am not a fan of the Diorific lipstick which I find drying, but the colors a great - especially I love Splendor, an intense dark, blue based red. The nail polishes are exactly the same as last year (and all previous years). The high lighter is a pretty golden that probably will highlight darker skin, but would work as some sort of shimmery bronzer on me (no go). The blusher is the real mystery in this colletion: It's an ordinary, run of the mill, warm peachy pink that doesn't go with any of the other colors in the collection - neither the eyeshadows nor the lipsticks.

All in all, I am not too impressed. I hope PP'll do better in the future.
