Owwww Im going to be on tour when its released. Might have to find where the nearest MAC counter is to where I end up on launch day haha. Its looking likely to be Exeter if it follows the 'first thursday' pattern.

Normally I would just order it online but with colours like this I know I should try it out first haha.

yeah it definately seems like a try before you buy colour for lighter skintones!

I have got the lipstick and lipgloss yesterday.

For some reason, the MA thought it was already launched and sold it to me. I was under the assumption that the date was Feb. 17th. Oh well, I'll post pics and swatches later but I am NC30.

thank for the link. i shall be skipping this lippie. i just know it wont work for me. and seeing as i hate to put gloss on top of lipsticks i wont be mixing it with anything either.

I really like that 'foundation on the lips-blank out' look though! LOL I bought three Yash lipsticks from the Mickey Contractor line because I thought that all of those were the best nudes from MAC ever, but if the Gaga II's beat out even the Yash lipsticks?? The you KNOW that I'm there! I will buy at least two before the year is up in that case! And Amplified Creams are a popular finish with people.

Truth be told Gaga II looks like Siss although maybe a bit sheerer and less difficult to handle and work with. I don't like Siss but Siss was so hard to work with and change, it was just thick, opaque, and straight up yellow on me not even brown at all.

At least Yash is workable and with very little lip pencil also.

If this is anything like Yash, I am buying in multiples. I hope the lipglass is nice and pigmented. I have been dreaming of a nude, opaque, not blue based flesh colored lipgloss. Dang, am I getting a little picky there or wha?

I love this color in swatches and youtubes. Finally a nice flesh colored lipstick and gloss with a warm undertone. Lurve it

I just applied the lipstick & lipglass together. See below. Here are my thoughts:

The lipstick is very creamy and pigmented. However, it does look like a concealer on my NC 30 skintone. I prefer the lipglass that is a very nice nude. In case I had to pick between lipstick and lipglass, I'd go with the lipglass.

My recommendation is to wear the lipstick with a lip liner. Maybe I should try it with Spice or Whirl.

Keep in mind that the money goes to the AIDS foundations. I don't mind experimenting with the lipstick. It has got a great texture.

This lippie does have a nice texture - soft and creamy when I applied it to my hand.

One of my local MAC stores had it up in their back room and I tried it on my hand.

The color is just gorgeous - I can't describe it - I haven't seen anything like it.

You will need to use a lip pencil w/it.

I can't wait for it to be released!

OK, I have both of those, I'm trying to convince myself I do not need this. Blankety is probably my favourite neutral ever (or The Faerie Glen)... I'm still getting used to CDN... I've only tried it once since I bought it a few weeks ago and I'm not sure about it. OK, I'm definitely going to have to at least swatch this one.
