Dangit! That's irritating MAC! If something is repromoted use the same quality as the original. This collection is loosing its spark for me quickly.I agree!! My saffron from Surf Baby must be wet to work

I respecfully disagree. Or I haven't tried the one from Mickey Contractor because it didn't launch here, but it's definitely not sheer. No way!Karen on Make Up Beauty Blog said that the Saffron from this collection is different than the one from Mickey Contractor. It's supposedly hard and sheer.
I might have to swatch this in store instead of purchasing online...
Crap i looked at this blog http://the-swatchaholic.com/?p=3408 and now i want both polishes! I thought Ocean Dip would look more like Mermaid's Tears from OPI but it's a lot brighter. And Hangin' Loose does look like the perfect Nude polish for me. I'm the same skintone as her. This is bad for my wallet![]()
oh yeah! jeanette's blog is amazing! she is a fellow specktra member and is so lovely!thank u for sharing this amazing blog! followed =]
MAC actually responded to my wall post from yesterday, and this is what they have to say: "Hi Gretchen-Though we don’t have an exact date to share, Surf Baby is expected to launch online around the end of this month. We’ll be sure to let our loyal Facebook fans know. Stay tuned!"
No. Shit. Ugh...
Hibiscus looks gorgeous thanks. I am excited for this lipstick!
I usually put more stock in Karen's words than her pictures, because I find her swathces weak for various reason. I'm the other way with Temptalia sometimes, because her pictures are outstanding, but I find her opinions to be different from mine. What always stands out is her review of the Tartan Tale palettes. She hated them and said they lacked pigment, but I find them to be outstanding(the 2 that I have). In this case, I'm going with Temptalia because her swatch of Saffron not only tells me that it's pigmented as hell, but it's the same Saffron. Temptalia is always the first to scream about lack of pigmentation, so when she says something is pigmented, I am inclined to believe it.
Someone responded to my wall post and said that it's launching next week. That's better, but I wanted a specific day. I guess that'll have to do.
thanks! yeah it seems orangey to me too in most pictures i have seen. at least for my skin tone!I have some swatches on my blog. Also a heads up - surf baby powder is quite orange and not peach in my opinion
