I'll go to the store on Thursday to pick up Hibiscus. Matter of fact, I'll just go in every day until I can get it because they've been known to sell products before the actual release. I'm so upset!

I am wearing Surf USA for the first time now, in the crease with a matte grey shadow from Mufe and a matching Chanel liner on the lower lash. I got Marine life on and I will probably throw on Strange Potion. I am loving this. Summer isn't my favorite season, but I love it make up-wise.

[/quote] U should check macys, nordstroms, and bloomingdale online also. At 3 am i checked and hibiscus was still available and at 730 i checked and it was sold out. We are savages! Lol

^ It's friggin ridiculous! Funny thing is that most of the time ppl r just buying to re-sell at a higher insane price. Or ppl get caught up in all the hype and end up sitting the items they HAD TO HAVE to the side after a practice makeup look using it, never picking it up again until they decide to do a small sale here on Specktra...SMH I'm glad I didn't have a long list for this collection. And I really do sympathize with those who were let down by MAC and the hoarders this morning I'll patiently wait till this collection is in store, purchase my 4 items and be done with MAC for a while...at least until the new brushes come out with Semi-Precious

I'm so glad that it is different over here. It is such a shame for the US and Canada and it sucks about the fleabay people.i can't get over how quickly things sell out in comparrison to here in the uk - crazy stuff

yeah me too - i couldn't handle the stress of rushing to order! i mean i do it anyway but i always know it's unlikely things will sell out within minutes. whereas the states people seem to have that happen all the time

I didn't want anything from this but the way MAC is handling these collections is just ridiculous. I don't know if they think they're increasing the hype or what but to real fans it just gets reaaallly old and is a major turnoff when you have to get stressed out over buying makeup, and for the casual buyer, would-be big fan...well they never even get to see the stuff. It's hard to see how this strategy could possibly be good for the company.

it looks like people get LE items according to the "make up social status" they have:
creators and MAC workers
Pro people
specktrettes or other "site map" sneaky people
humans
obviously if you are at the bottom u hardly get access to items like hibiscus, candy yum yum...etc

exactly! if theyt made more or had more in stock surely more people would buy and they would get more money in the end anyways?! i will never understand i guess.

My flesh is weak so I ordered Hibiscus last night but I didn't do second day shipping, so who knows if I get it. If it doesn't work, then I will sell it but I really don't have any loyalty to Mac anymore and will send it back which sucks cuz someone else could've had that product esp. LE. But since Mac is overly ridiculous now and you have to be a super sleuth and check the website everyday hourly when a release happens, I hold no sympathy if they are sitting on product.
Oh well, I am so excited about Sun Blonde, the one thing I truly truly wanted the most.

I don't understand how Surf the Ocean could have sold out that fast? the last I looked, the price was still at $0.00, then it was sold out all of a sudden.

Just called my local FS store and the manager said they are releasing the collection on Wednesday. I'm gonna be there tomorrow after work to see if they will have it out. Madness....
