Awww! Maybe it's just not feeling quite summery by you yet.
We've had lovely, bright, late spring weather here and I've been out and about a lot so this collection's been feeling right. I've worn Hibiscus every day since I got it, except for the 2 days I wore Krazy Kahuna. 2 days each with Sun Blonde and Surf the Ocean and 3 days with Blue Noon, but I haven't busted out Bust Out!, Surf USA or Summer Stash yet. I'm still debating about returning My Paradise - my makeup friend is scared of all blushes so I haven't been able to convince her to take it.
maybe that is it - it rained so hard yesterday and although the sun was out today it still felt like it was going to rain
plus i feel so dead and tired from work i guess i'm not in the make up mood

I'm actually a little sad to see that we're moving away from spring and into summer here, especially in the makeup department. There are certain colors I just can't wear in the summer or winter, but look perfect in the spring (Quite Cute and Blooming Lovely are the main culprits here, but even my beloved Flaunting It isn't quite cutting it the past week or so) - except spring is so short in L.A. on top of it all.maybe that is it - it rained so hard yesterday and although the sun was out today it still felt like it was going to rain
I'm sorry you're feeling that horrible work fatigue. Maybe you should treat yourself to some luxurious skin care regimen tonight instead of makeup. After a mask and some deep moisturizing and maybe a deep hair conditioning, your face will feel great and you'll be back in the makeup saddle by tomorrow!

aww Lou! I've been wearing mine everyday - just so I can look at the color on.
Hubs took me shopping all over the darn place (cause I get a little down when the kids don't come home over the holiday) & everyone wanted to know what ls I was wearing. I just love the color on dab & smoosh

I finally received my things today! I called and found out it was delivered to someone else's house, about 6 hours away from me. So much for express shipping...but I'm so thankful It even made it to me!
However, the gold part of my metallic pigments do not look normal compared to the other swatches I've seen. Mine looks almost liquid like. What do you guys think?
Please, do not pay any attention to my nails. They need to be done majorly
THIS! is exactly how mine looked. I did a chat with MAC as well as took it back to MAC. They all said the same, it probably melted.. because of the "unique" consistency. The MAC Trainer was on site and she checked other ones and they all looked the same.. so, common info I got it, "This is normal"..
its still weird though.

I just got Swell Baby eyeshadow. It's very pretty. I didn't need it, as I suspected, but I got so excited with my other SB products, I said why not. It's not exactly like any other grey that I have, but it is closest to Bough Grey, like I said before. It's a little lighter, though.

So much for skipping Surf Baby, I ended up getting Hibiscus and Sun Blonde. Hoping for a quick delivery now.
I knew I'd end up buying Sun Blonde. Then after all those "better/richer/deeper VG Cyndi" comments I just had to get Hibiscus too. Mac didn't eat my wallet, Specktra did

i use my ring finger and IF necessary blend with a 224 unfortunately for as pretty as the colors are....they just dont work!

Now that's going to be going through my head when I apply a tricky lipstick, Elegant. Dab & Smoosh. :haha: Mac should just turn that into a lipstick. My crushed metals are supposed to get to me tomorrow. I pray that none of them are melted. I've been through too much to get it. It's been almost 90 degrees every day since Saturday!
