It looks like I'm squeezing my eyes shut, but I'm really not. I don't know why my lids are so creasy.

I love my JW but now I wonder why the hell I didn't get HP also. I kept adding it and taking it off my list and just ended up with JW and ER which I do love both of those.
Hopefully Elegant gets her Cinderella sooty eye look she wanted

Its not too bad for me, but JW serves up the glitter more than I expected for a VP. it took me awhile to get all the glitter off. from now on I will be using it with fix+, which controls those little glitters and makes JW even better for me.
girl, you better get nitro:licious before it goes.

If you like color then I would skip! I see hints of like a pinky peachy shimmer but thats about it. It would appear just clear to others.

My goodies arrived yesterday but since I had to take my kid to see Cars 2 last night I didn't get a chance to post. My haul was as follows:
[Eye Shadows] Jealousy Wakes, Hocus Pocus, Sparkle, Neely, Sparkle
[Lipglasses] AMPL, Sonoran Rain, Nitro:licious 2046
I plan on doing a few blog posts reviewing the shades and how they've worked in looks I'm doing over the weekend. In the meantime here are my thoughts on the swatches I've done so far.
For the eyeshadows I did a few quick swatches to see how they looked on me. I hate the Satin formula--hate it. But Hocus Pocus looked so pretty and versatile that I'm in love. Nice silver smoke shimmer that reminds me of a mix of two e/s I already own. Velvet I have a love/hate relationship with (i.e. Bitter) but Sparkle, Neely, Sparkle is really pretty. I didn't notice any fallout and it will make a nice crease shade. This will probably be a regular in my 'Church Lady' stash. Straight up--Jealousy Wakes is the bomb! Intense seething green, goes on smooth like butter. Definitely not a dupe of Surf USA and it bridges a gap in my collection of greens. This has to be my favorite color in the collection due to my love of intense eye colors.
As for the lipglasses, as soon as AMPL arrived I had to slap it on. Seriously, this color is gorgeous! Rich pigmentation, no streakiness and it is a true purple. I can stop hoarding my Flaunting It now. Sonoran Rain I didn't expect to like but after seeing watches I had to have it--and I'm glad I did. THe color doesn't clash with my red undertones and it is such a beautifully 'different' shade than I'm used to wearing. Now Nitro:licious 2046--damn! Hot screaming opaque blue-red. The kind I wished Venetian was.
I didn't get Parisian Skies because it looked too 'dusty' and I prefer the deep richness of Plumage instead. Evolution Revolution looked too light and since I already have Good Luvin' and Strange Potion from Surf Baby this would have been money wasted for me. Caqui is orange which is a big no-no for this intensely red undertoned gal. It's so beautiful and like NARS Wonder it hurts I have to pass it up.

I LOVE this look on you! So pretty!
Got my goodies, but they came after I had already applied half of my makeup! Argh. So I added Jealousy Wakes to my Prance and Surf USA Combo. And then threw on Nitrolicious for the hell of it. I don't match AT ALL, but oh well. This is also my first time wearing a red lip EVER!! Eeeppp! I'm so nervous to go into work in half an hour!! D: I don't want people to laugh at me.
What do you guys think?

Lurking doesn't help when you're wanting to go on a MAC fast.... curiosity eventually kills the MAC addict! I'm really hoping HP and JW are restocked, despite what the reps say. Not that I doubt them, just hoping MAC headquarters will change their minds. Contemplating getting SNS and Caqui or Sr anyway, even tho I'm working myself out of glosses these days (curious hands of a baby call more for lipstick!).
The collection must really be getting to me... I dreamt that I visited a pro store that actually carried this collection and showed me their testers. Everything was gorgeous! I woke up before paying tho, so I can't even say I owned these babies in my dreams.
