My Après Chic Collection Haul Après Chic l/s Hot Chocolate Haute Altitude Rich Experience Stereo Rose (I missed our last time) Rosy Romance Tined Lip Balm ( to wear on top of Après Chic Lipstick. For reference I am a NC20/NW20 with hazel eyes and I brushed Stereo Rose on my checks then followed with Amber Glow blush on top mad it was perfect shade for us fair ladies. Gave me a sun kissed sorta flushed cheeks and I got three compliments before I walked out the door. So now do I go back and get Amber Glow or wait until it hits CCO. Does anyone know if there is a dupe to Amber Glow?

If I have Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre in Fantasme, do I need Ice? I keep telling myself no, but like Liba it is the only MES I didn't buy from this collection and it keeps nagging at me!

I thought I was going to skip this collection until I went to pick up my Strength goodies and saw the items from this collection. I can't begin to tell you how much I love Hot Chocolate lipstick. It reminds me of a darker version of Flaunting It Kissable Lipcolour. It reads browner on Temptalia but on me the plum undertones are definitely visible. I think I may be going back for a back up if I can find it. The artist that was helping me at the Pro store took the last one they had after seeing how it looked on me. Hopefully I'll have luck at the mall later.
I am in trouble then, there goes skipping the collection. Thanks :)

If someone could swatch Silver Birch next to Cloudy Afternoon, that would be amazing :) Not that I think they're too similar, but it would give me a much better idea of the color, since I have to order online.

I would love to see Frost at Midnight swatched next to Winterized.Does anyone happen to have both and could swatch
them side by side?

TIA!
Winterized is much darker and not anywhere near as sparkly. Also, depending on your veining, Winterized can look a lot browner than FaM. Actually, they'd make a great combo together! If you want a color you can just do a one-and-done wash with, FaM is an easier option, since it's not as dark and also much more multi-dimensional.

Alpine Bronze was orange on me. I just noticed looking at my Stereo Rose that it doesn't have a lot of veining which the tester did and now makes me wonder if it will be to dark/orangey on my NW20 skin. I have Porcelain Pink already so I might just skip the Amber Glow which Temptalia said was a close dupe.

Cyndi, left - AC, right. Not even close. AC is more red brick

Thanks elegant-one, I was worried that I was going to have two reds that were identical. My purchase of Apres Chic is now justified

oh, I see - you tried AG on in store, but weren't sure if it was unique enough to go back and buy.

I don't own Porcelain Pink, but from the MSFs I own, I'd say the Amber Glow texture and color canceling opacity level is what makes it unique, more than the color. If you go back to the store, try it on its own without other blush - that ought to tell you if it's a must have for you or not. It was love at first sight for me…I don't think I'd have bought it if it wasn't.

I think you are correct, the uniqueness is the texture and canceling opacity level. I am convinced that I should get it. Thank you Liba.

Thank you very much, liba!

I am glad that they are not similar and now I am even more excited to get FaM

Imaginary paint pot should make a lovely base for FaM.I have already tried it for Winterized

And I have to try For Effect paint pot as a base for Silver Birch.

I will also try the combo "FaM + Winterized"!
