MAC x Archie's Girls (Betty & Veronica) Collection Discussion (February 2013)

I'm losing interest in this collection, but I want more info. I think right now I'm only really interested in Betty Bright. I love pearlmattes, but I feel like I have too many cheek products and not enough time to wear them. Maybe the green piggie will blow me away, though. Kinda hope so

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! **FAINTS*** FINALLY!!!! A straight f'ing purple lipstick without any pink, red or fuchsia in it. I wish it had some bleu, but I'll take straight up purple. MAC really should do more straight up purples.

I hope we get the color story today or at least this week. I hate waiting.

If BS is purpler than Violetta l/s, I think I should pass.

There is no doubt in my mind that all the purple products from Veronica will get the majority of attention in this collection.

Generally speaking, I agree 100%...at the closest store to me though, people are not so daring. Last I saw, SW and FF were the only lippies left from the Strength collection! Although now that I think about it, SI sold out before NI from Taste Temptations...so I wonder how things are going to play out with AG? Should be interesting!

Try any eye brush that is dense (tightly packed, or not fluffy). I also use the suggested 242, but if you don't have it, I've heard of people using the 239 as well. You just need a brush that is going to hold on to the pigment. I find that it tends to fall all over the place if you use too fluffy a brush, lol. But take a look at whatever eye brushes you have and see if you can make one of those work! Have fun!!

Haven't decided yet. Leaning towards not going. As entertaining as it is to observe the madness, I'd prefer not to be in the middle of it! If it takes forever for this collection to launch online though, I'll go down to the store on launch day. The one closest to me isn't have a pre-release event, so that should work out fine.

It's gonna be between the two. The top pic is taken indoors, the bottom is with a flash. Flash always brightens colours, while indoor pics (lack of natural light) gives a bit of shadow.

I wouldn't have minded a darker Go For It lippie. This one seems different and unique. I may have to pick up two depending on the swatches. Come on swatches and color story already!!!!!!

It probably depends on the shipping method as well and how quickly you want your stuff. I usually go with overnight.
