Sounds like the sheerness level of Apres Chic? 'Could be nice, but yeah, a little oddball for Spring. I guess it's a question of comparing with stuff like Yung Rapunxel. I still think we'll eventually see a really bright purple this year. I'd be more surprised if we didn't, than if we did. Just gotta keep waiting & watching

Hmm i guess you could say like Apres Chic. to me it has the same texture on me as Impassioned did on me. but i think Impassioned is buildable and this is too and with the right person it could look good on them! i just think on me...it's not going to work the way it could on someone else.

I was really hoping that Boyfriend Stealer would be a brighter purple or a dupe for Strong Woman. I'll have to see that lipstick in person and put it in my maybe list.

Well this is disappointing. Not at all what I expected this color to be. I was thinking something much darker and closer to the way it looks in the tube. Maybe like a more purple Dramatic Encounter or something. Sadly for me (but happily for my wallet) this may be a skip now.

Whooooa, Strawberry Malt looks like a super shiny red. Can't wait to see what that looks like on people. As for Boyfriend Stealer, I'm positive it would look much different on me since I'm of the fair-skinned folk. Not giving my judgement yet.

How sad that bs isn't a bright purple. Isn't this a spring collection? I'm surprised to see a dark color. Would look pretty on people tho I'm sure but it does remind me of YR. I do appreciate the swatches. I think I won't be hauling too many lippies as some might be dupe able. Well see when more info comes out.

I love it!!! This is going to be my new deciding factor for whether or not to buy yet another lipstick. If it's not "punch you in the face awesome", then I'm saving my money for something better!

I just looked up some dark purple lippes on Christine (T) and they look good, especially for fall time. I can buy now and save it for then lol. I will just have to wait to see it in person i guess. I think I want Strawberry malt. Both are on my Maybe list =)

Boyfriend Stealer swatched once on the top Boyfriend stealer swatched twice on the bottom again the texture feels soft, it's a good amount of shine, hence why i said maybe not a lustre but a creamsheen. i don't own a lot of those but i know it's not any of the other ones i usually buy lol

I actually really like this color, I don't have anything similar to this and it'll be great for fall. I think people's disappointment in this color is just initial shock that it isn't bright. I was expecting something bright as well (hence the face chart picture) but I'm okay with this color as well; & I'm sure we'll see a lot of bright purples in the upcoming months. I don't mind saving boyfriend stealer until fall I just hope it looks good on me

I think part of people's disappointment is that it looks similar to Yung Rapunxel and Dramatic Encounter. Most of us I think have either one or the other or both so it would be a dupe. It is a really pretty color for fall though.

^Yep so true that Boyfriend Stealer will be saved for the Fall season. I do own both Yung Rapunxel and Dramatic Encounter and leaning towards skipping that lipstick.

if you go back and look at that _JenniferChen pic btw i noticed that she has the lipglosses in it and seems like there is a lipgloss that matches the lipstick. so if that's the case in her picture though filtered like Folgers Coffee, it does look like that's the lipgloss that goes with B/S perhaps

From browsing the thread, I know I'm definitely picking up some of Betty's half of the collection. Warmer, brighter colors tend to suit me best anyhow.
I hope that the eyeshadow quad is of good quality! Also praying that the coral lipstick will be really bright and pigmented.
