May also get FV but going to wait awhile, since I have SOOOOO many PP to go through! I'm with all of you that still are trying to use up their stockpile of Posh Paradise PP! I still have 2 Let's Skate BU's to go thru! UGH

Do you think Vintage Selection would look good with Pure Flash electric cool shadow?

OMGGGG I bought more of those EC Shadows than I even wanted trying to dupe VS... I haven't even thought about using them together. But the EC texture fell short for me. VS is great! Get it GIRL!!

And the PP Hell!? Ummmm YES! More like BU Hell in general! HeeHee I have a whole box of PP's in my fridge! MAC used to take FOREVER (and mostly NEVER) bringing back old products. So there was always a frenzy to back things up if you loved something (or in my case LOTS of things)! But now w all the limited edition craziness, they have been forced to re-release things sooner (probably for lack of creativity!) It gets really frustrating! I have 2 BU's of Let's Skate and now its PERM! This is definitely going to make me WAY more selective about BU's. I will probably abandon the concept altogether! There will be a good chance now of a re-release or a better product comes along to replace the product I love! I mean seriously HOW many BRIGHT PINK lipsticks do I need?! Let alone a back up of it! 2013 is going to be a new beginning for me and how I look at my collection and choose products to add to it!

There also are the matte and shine mixing mediums and they told me they work well to create a matte or shine effect and not necessary to use shadows wet. For example they would use the shine on the cheekbones were you normally apply highlighter to create a nice shine effect. I hope this helps somewhat. I'm not an expert, but this is what I know about them. I only have the water based and eyeliner versions and really like those. I think those are the best to start with unless you want to do body painting or something.

well these pp's were gonna be a skip for me...actually they still are for NOW but im glad there perm's so i can try em n add em later in life!!!

You are so right about newer, better products. ...but Let's Skate is too awesome lol! I think I want to try VS by itself with LS as a highlight.

It's interesting that a lot of us are starting to feel this way this year. We need to start a club... I'm going to go through my collex and see what i have so I can start paring down my list.

I just started a list of products I buy in 2013. Hopefully I'll look at it and think, "What in the hell do I need 14 new lipsticks for?"

Good idea! I would do that too, except I think DH would be more likely to ask me that question if he ever saw my list than I would be to ask myself that question, lol. At least I'm sticking to not needing something from every collection this year. Already planning on skipping two or three collections entirely.
