Don't give up MissTT. You have gorgeous coloring, and this lipstick should work for you. Whenever I had this similar issue in the past I always put a tiny bit of foundation on my lips, which generally gave me the result I was looking for. Also, I use What A Blast lip liner w/SLN.

Did you try to apply just a sheer coat? I apply it directly from the bullet, but dab it with my finger. It can look chalky on me if I apply it like I usually do. Thanks, it's weird how it looks more peachy on me! I think I prefer it too! Thanks! It's Ripe for Love!

I apply my sound like noise with a lip brush I love it better like that its such a beautiful color

Thank you! That is Soft Brown & a matte brown from the Sleek Palette called Paper Bag. I think blending DD out made the crease look a little shimmery, but it was all matte colors.

oh, but to be devil's advocate, I have both and I see tiny violet duochrome in Daydreaming that is not there in Firecracker. Probably a minor point, but if anyone is looking to be enable to get both, there you go...
