I hunted down the Iman BB cream until I finally found the one I was looking for at the third Walmart I went to yesterday evening. Earth Deep was sold out at the two first locations. When I spotted one the box was a bit tattered with obvious manipulation. It was the only one left and I was anxious to really try these BB creams. I pointed out to the cashier that the box was worn. She casually dismissed my concern attributing it to customers possibly checking out the product. She wanted to know if I was having a bad day when I proceeded to tell her that make up is a personal thing and should be sanitary. The cashier did not stop there, she thought it was imperative for me to know that she does not wear make-up. Anyways, after that drama I still ended up getting the Iman BB Cream in Earth Deep. I tried it on the go so I had to improvise my setting powder. I used Mac DD blotting powder. I had no primer on as I was completely make up free. I just added some gloss. I really liked this BB cream and could see it looking much better with a primer and either my Studio Fix NW 50 or MSF DD powders which I alternate. Funny enough, I only owned this BB cream for approx an hour before stopping by my mom. I was so happy with my find I had to show her. That was the end of it for me. I was told by mom that I will find it again. I just got a call from her as she checks in with me from work during the days. She is now wearing and very happy with the Iman BB cream. Mom described it as being very natural and nice looking which is how I felt about it. While I am not in a rush to spend another $20, it is nice to know that I have the option when I want to. It also comes in Earth Medium which of course is lighter and a few more lighter shades.

I missed the point in this story where you say you reported her to the mgr? i mean what was all that about. You had a reason to question the product. i guess she must of thought you wanted a discount or something.

But im glad that it works for you! i enjoy the Iman BB cream as well :)

i've been wantin to try those iman bb's for a minute. u know there's primer already IN bb cream right? that chick at the register was a straight bytch!! she should've gave u somethin off. i would've called the mgr over or something...phks that!!! i have 2 bb's. smashbox is STILL my fave (i bite the bullet on that price tag tho) becuz i get good coverage n i like the matte finish where i dnt have to set w/a powder if i dnt want to. mac bb is more like a tinted moisturizer than a bb (to me) cuz its not as thick and that i do set w/a powder. but umm yea...im gonna track down that iman!!

I didn't know they have a BB cream primer ! Wow , tell me what they don't have. Thanks Kiki. That cashier was straight up inappropriate and nasty . I was too tired to fight with that blank blank so I left it alone. Had it been earlier in the day she would not have been feeling like she had the upper hand

My mom is going away on vacay in Canada next week and I kno she wanted to take the BB cream with her. Normally she is subtle and hints but last night she made it known in no uncertain terms that she wanted it. Fighting with my husband recently don't leave me with much energy to fight with anyone else plus I am normally passive anyway

Not only do they already have a primer AND everything else in them, but you don't wanna put foundation on top of it too! :nope: That's far too much makeup my dear. A light dusting of MSFN is the most you wanna do, so keep that SF tucked away. You can touch up with your blot powder throughout the day if needed, or blot film, whichever your preference is. While i get that women have their routines and makeup preferences, i see a lot of women use too much makeup that isn't necessary. i cant tell you how many women tell me they're use SFF, set it with SF, and then touch up throughout the day with SF, thinking they're setting a foundation with a powder and then touching up with a powder, when in fact they're setting a full coverage foundation with full coverage foundation, and touching up with a full coverage foundation, and i just wanna  for their skin and their wallet!

Wahhhh! I have friends that do that and I cringe. Touch ups with more foundation. I recently bought the Maybeline BB just to try. I don't like it too much. It makes me oily but usually what I do is BB all over my face, conceal dark circles, and set everything with MSFN. I only use BBs on my lazy, no makeup days. I am looking for a better one though. I may try the Mac one or smashbox. I'm going to try to get a sample of them before I shell out the money.

And they usually have AMAZING skin, which Debbs most definitely does!

I bought the BB compact in Medium (I'm NC 30) it was a perfect match. I love the natural look I get from it. It doesn't cover up my dark spots but it evens it out and I get the no make-up fresh natural look from it. I don't use the sponge, instead I use my mini MAC 130 brush (from a holiday set I tried out). Set it with MSFN in Medium. Thanks Erine for the recommendations using the 130, and setting it with MSFN!

u need to order DARK!! im normally a medium complexion too and these run too light.
Was this in the compact or liquid? I was going to purchase Dark in the compact. I might reconsider that. I'm a NC45/50. Have you gotten the chance to try Dark Plus?

nope i have the liquid (i dnt like creams in compact cuz i feel like i'd use too much). im around an NC42-ish (give or take...MUFE 170, MAC F&B C6) and dark was perfect for me! im tryin to figure out how medium was too dark for u or did u mean light? u didnt wanna try em at the counters? thats what i was gonna do but my mac girl advised me to get dark.

No not really I was trying to avoid going to the counters.I wanted to try both the liquid and compact but I might try Dark Plus since Dark worked for you.

I'd say go ahead and get the Sleek BB, it's awesome. I run an NW42-50 in MAC(don't ask) and the Sleek BB in Medium is a perfect match for everything including my deep yellow undertones. I've serioulsy just about given up on American brands to be inclusive to women of colour with their foundation shades, one of the reasons I stopped wearing MAC almost a decade ago. These are the colours of the Sleek BB's, the colours I'm going to be giving away are the Light 01, Light 02, Medium and Medium 01.
Which do you think would be a match for NC42? I ordered medium but its too dark for me, I may send it back or sell it for the price i purchased it for. Any suggestions?
