Batifole is definitely among the best of the best. Rouge G is a stunning formula, but Madame Batifole is outstanding even by their standards.

This actually made me more interested in it, because I missed out on Espeigle. So I think that comparison may just have sold me on the crazy bronzer.

I ultimately find the pace of Mac releases and the pressure to buy IMMEDIATELY just exhausting. I'm happier taking my time (even with limited items) on other brands and being a little pickier about what I get. I would also say that the current Mac LE collections don't strike me as being of the same quality as their permanent items a lot of the time. I'll always have my Mac favourites, but I just can't stay on the LE merry-go-round.

I'm wondering about Provocative vs Catfight as well. Rouge G is an amazing formula, but UD is no slouch and at half the price, it's hard to justify the extra expense. Plus, now that I've seen both Rouge Automatiques, I kinda want them as much or more than I want Provocative. It'll all be decided with the swatches.
Based on the comparison swatches from Temptalia, they look pretty close. I own Catfight so it just doesn't make sense to get Provocative. I have other unique Rouge Gs on my list that I really want. The only Rouge Automatique that looks interesting to me is Reflex but I'll wait to see swatches. I'd also really like to see swatches of the pressed powder!

If you are curious about the UD lipsticks, they are really great! I have Catfight and Maniac, and now Strip is on the way.

I'm waiting on swatches of the pressed powder as well before I make my final decision! I picked up Reflex(and Batifole) from Bloomingdale's but I also want the powder or meteorites and maybe the bronzer.

I agree about UD's lipsticks, they really are a wonderful formula...I've bought 4 already (Jilted, Native, Streak, Venom) and have 2 of the deluxe samples(Anarchy and Catfight) and they are probably my most used lipstick now!

FYI - the Cruel Gardenia meteorites powder (repromote from Spring 2012) is now available at my Shoppers Drug Mart, so keep an eye out for it in your local stores if you are interested in getting one!

I wonder if this is related to the rumour that it's making a return in Spring 2014?

I am not really interested in the Guerlain holiday collection this year, but I would definitely be interested in getting my hands on Cruel Gardenia!

There is a mini (not that mini) version of Cruel Gardenia, but I forgot the weight of the product. It is available as a travel exclusive, and I saw it just two weeks ago at the Duty Free Shop. If I don't have the regular sized one I would have gotten it. It is adorable, and we can actually finish using it.

Cruel Gardenia is up on Dillards. Unfortunately, the shipping is 8 bucks! I don't want to miss out this time but that's kind of a lot for shipping. I hope it shows up soon at other retailers.

The one on the Dillards web site looks to be the same price as the original, so I certainly hope that it's the same size and not a travel size.

Do they ship to stores for free? I have a Dillards in town that I never go to.

I just got my order of the new Rouge Automatique in Reflex from the Crazy Paris collection. Pictures don't do it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. It's a pinky coral and it's one of the best corals I own. We already know the formula is good, but I was blown away by the color and the packaging is fabulous. If this is limited edition I might have to get another.

Wow, I didn' t expect it to be coral in any way!

The description says "bold neon pink" and I thought it would be something like CYY...

Oh, I hope it's a coral that will work on me. Corals and I have a love-hate relationship. The ones that work are great, but when they are even a little off... not nice at all.

Really? No way. It definitely leans coral. It's not like CYY. Best Things in Beauty described it as coral-rose and that's what made me want it.
