I normally don't pester my MA about "where's the collection, where's the collection???" but this one I've been a major pest

I'll try to be gentle, but all I know right now is my MA doesn't usually even care for MSFs and MBs and HE was raving about them. So far, the MBs and MSFs don't really seem dupe-y to me, just from the photos…time will tell, but I'm certainly strapping myself in for an expensive ride on this collection!

OH NO! Well, I decided to TRY and just get 1 MB (the lilac one) and 1 MSF (not sure yet which one)... that way I can have something from this collection to satisfied my inner hoarder, but not go crazy with product overload JUST to have EVERYTHING! NOW the problem is... WHAT MSF? I was hoping the light one would come off like Light Year and the purpley-pink one like Star Wonder... but now you have me second guessing that these are as dupable as I originally thought. Waiting to hear what you think when you see them in person Liba!

I always startstrong thinking I willavoid duplicate items and stick to a list but then I see swatches on here and that plan goes out the window. My list is growing. I thought I'd skip the red nude and frosty pink lippies but I love all beauty zines swatches plus the matching csg. Guess I may have to skip some sets. I wish all these csg came as a set!

Iono EE looks more brown in comparison with nude which was more grey and had rose/mauve undertones

I am seeing multicolored tones in the beautyzine swatch but it could be my screen? If it has that multiple colored shimmering particles it will be stunning.

It is a little bit iridescent... but it's mostly just pink and gold shimmer It really is quite beautiful!

I've got Military and it does have quite a different texture than you see with all the current liquid sand polishes - it's smooth and only looks like there's some texture, rather than actually being rough or  sandy. It's also matte, which is extremely in. The wear time on it is decent, especially since mattes tend to not wear very well. I'm not sure it's worth the extra, special packaging price, but it's the sort of polish color MAC knows how to do really well - the sophisticated "adult" version of trendy polish.  Hey thanks for the compliment. I definitely go out of my way to go into details on certain products because first of all, some of these things just don't photograph very well. If it's made to give really illusion, magical, subtle or sneaky effects, not getting an obvious, blatant photo is sort of the point. Also, when I try stuff on, it's usually with lots of time to play around with everything in different ways and sometimes there's just some weird product that the usual ways don't give flattering results, then BOOM, you try something different and all the pieces fall into place….call me a fan of the underdog! So, I like to get really analytical about it. I don't know why, but I really like to pass along my enthusiasm about cool, new concepts and I also hate to see people buy LE items willy nilly and then never actually wear them or try them once and return them. I don't have a blog or anything - just get all enthusiastic and love coming here to share with my makeup loving internet buddies!!! If I ever do decide to blog it on up, though, it's kind of nifty to know my ideas and opinions are actually helpful, rather than just a lot of hot air flapped out of my lips!

Seriously, Liba... Every time I'm "meh" about a collection, your detailed descriptions and creativity open my eyes. I used to be like, "If I have to add a liner or gloss to it, it's too much work," but you've really helped me appreciate that MAC is all about playing and having fun. Thanks for taking the time to share your enthusiasm for MAC on Specktra!

Yes KrystalAnne I do. It is well pigmented. That swatch on my hand was just one swipe with my finger!
